A heptathlon is a track and field combined events contest made up of seven events. The name derives from the Greek επτά and ἄθλος. A competitor in a heptathlon is referred to as a heptathlete.
Michael Walter Mathieu is a retired Bahamian sprinter hailing from Freeport, Grand Bahama who specialized in the 200 metres and 400 metres. He was part of the Bahamian silver medal-winning team in the men's 4×400 metres relay at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, running second leg and recording a 44.0 split, and the gold medal-winning team at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Sander Aae Skotheim is a Norwegian multi-event athlete. He was a silver medalist in the heptathlon at the 2024 World Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow, and the 2023 European Athletics Indoor Championships in Istanbul. In the decathlon he was a silver medalist at the 2024 European Athletics Championships in Rome.
Antoine Andrews is a Bahamian athlete. He won the gold medal at the 2022 IAAF World Junior Championships in the 110m hurdles.
Jana Koščak is a Croatian multi-event track and field athlete. In 2022 she became the European under-18 champion in Pentathlon and Heptathlon. She is the Croatian senior national record holder in both events.
Henriette Jæger is a Norwegian track and field athlete. She is a multiple time national champion, and former U18 world record holder. In 2023, she became the Norwegian record holder over 400 metres.
