Kengal Shreepada Renu (born 8 November 1958) is an Indian politician. He is the grandson of Kengal Hanumanthaiah, the most revered politician in Karnataka, who was the 2nd Chief Minister of the State, and, who built the State Legislature called Vidhana Soudha. He is also a former Ranji cricketer representing the State of Karnataka, and an accomplished golfer having won more than 50 club and amateur tournaments.
Kengal Shreepada Renu, born in Bangalore in the State of Karnataka is the son of Dr. T. Timmaiah, I.A.S. (Retd.) who did his Ph.D. from London, and Vijayalakshmi. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics) from U.V.C.E. Bangalore University, and an M.B.A. in International Finance from University of Central Oklahoma in the United States of America.
Shreepada Renu is presently the spokesperson for the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee. He participated in the Padayatra from Bangalore to Bellary, a total of 320 kilometres. He is a member of the Campaign Committee. He was also an observer for the Ramanagar and Mandya district 2013 by-elections. [1] He is chairman of the Kengal Hanumanthaiya Memorial Trust which has held various functions attended by the Honorable President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, Honorable Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah, and various Congress leaders. Shreepada Renu also represented Karnataka in the Ranji Trophy. Of the 6 crore (60 million) population of Karnataka, only 250 players have played for Karnataka in the Ranji Trophy since its inception in 1942. Represented Karnataka State 'B' team in 1982–1983.
Shreepada Renu has won over 50 club and amateur golf tournaments, including the Amateur trophy for the prestigious Hero Honda Indian Open in 2001. [3]
He is married to Roshan Shreepada and has a son Tehjas Shreepada Renu.
Somanahalli Mallaiah Krishna is an Indian politician who served as Minister of External Affairs of India from 2009 to October 2012. He was the 10th Chief Minister of Karnataka from 1999 to 2004 and the 19th Governor of Maharashtra from 2004 to 2008. SM Krishna had served as the Speaker of the Karnataka Vidhan Sabha from December 1989 to January 1993. He was also a member of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha at various times from 1971 to 2014. In 2023, Krishna was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, the second highest civilian award of India.
Siddaramaiah, also referred to by his nickname Siddu, is an Indian politician who is serving as the 22nd Chief Minister of Karnataka from 20 May 2023. He also held that position previously from 2013 to 2018, being only the second person to hold that office for a full five-year term. He belongs to the Indian National Congress and is presently the leader of the Congress Legislative Party. He represented the Varuna Assembly constituency from 2023, previously from 2008 to 2018, Badami Assembly constituency from 2018 to 2023, and Chamundeshwari Assembly constituency from 2004 to 2007, 1994 to 1999, and from 1983 to 1989 in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. He served as the Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka from 1996 to 1999 and from 2004 to 2005 while he was a member of the Janata Dal and Janata Dal (Secular). He also served as the Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly on two occasions, from 2019 to 2023 and from 2009 to 2013. Siddaramaiah was a member of various Janata Parivar factions for several years.
Raghvendrarao Vijay Bharadwaj is an Indian cricket coach and commentator, former professional cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and right-arm offbreak bowler. He won the Man of the Series award on his debut one day international series against South Africa in the LG Cup in Kenya in the 1999–2000 season.

Kengal Hanumanthaiah, also spelt as Kengal Hanumanthaiya, was the second Chief Minister of Karnataka from 30 March 1952 to 19 August 1956. He contributed to the construction of Vidhana Soudha, the seat of the state legislature.
Kollur Mallappa, also referred to as Malappa Lingappa Kollur was the first President of Hyderabad Pradesh Congress Committee, prior to the merger of Hyderabad state into Andhra Pradesh. The Government of Karnataka, abbreviated as GoK or GoKA, formerly known as Government of Mysore (1956–1974), is a democratically elected state body with the governor as the ceremonial head to govern the Southwest Indian state of Karnataka. The governor who is appointed for five years appoints the chief minister and on the advice of the chief minister appoints their council of ministers. Even though the governor remains the ceremonial head of the state, the day-to-day running of the government is taken care of by the chief minister and their council of ministers in whom a great amount of legislative powers are vested.

The KSCA operates the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore, which hosts International level Test, ODI and T20 cricket matches. It also operates a newly built stadium in Hubli and Belagavi.
