Kennedy Osei Asante (born 1988) is a Ghanaian lawyer and businessman. [2]

Early life

Osei was born on 10 October 1988 [3] and is the eldest son of Dr. Osei Kwame Despite. [4]

Education

Osei had his elementary education at the Reverend John Teye Memorial Institute. He attended Adisadel College in Cape Coast and then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with the option of Banking and Finance at the University of Ghana. [5]

He obtained an LLB from Mountcrest College before being called to the Ghana Bar after graduating with a Master of Laws in Corporate and Commercial Law from the University of Ghana Law School in 2022. [6] [7]

Career

Osei is the General Manager of Despite Media Group, the media conglomerate that owns and runs Peace FM, Neat FM, Hello FM, United Television and Peacefmonline.com.[ citation needed ]

He also runs and controls Golden Crest Hotel, Aerial Plus, Nextbite Company Limited and Tribal Africa in top-level leadership capacity. [8]

Philanthropy

Osei refurbished and donated a new library to the Reverend John Teye Memorial Institute, his alma mater 2002. [9]

Personal life

On Valentine's Day in 2020, Osei married fashion designer Tracy Ameyaw in a traditional wedding. [10] The next day, the white wedding took place in what was described as a lavish event. [11] [12] In 2021, the couple announced the birth of their twins. [13]

Okomfo Anokye was the first priest (Okomfo) of the Ashanti Empire. Anokye is known for his participation in the expansion of the empire. He was also the codifier of the constitution and laws of the Ashanti Empire.

Felicity Ama Agyemang, also known as Nana Ama McBrown, is a Ghanaian actress, TV show hostess, and music composer. She rose to prominence for her role in a television series titled Tentacles. The Reverend John Teye Memorial Institute is a private Christian school located at Ofankor in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. The school is well known in Ghana for its scholarship and for the Reverend John Teye Memorial School Band which is invited often to perform at various occasions including national events.

Osei Kwame Despite is a Ghanaian entrepreneur and a philanthropist with a foundation in music creation and knowledge of the broadcasting sector. Osei-Kwame is the CEO of the Despite Firm Ltd, a trade company with subsidiaries in the media industry, including UTV, PEACE FM, OKAY FM, NEAT FM and HELLO FM in Kumasi. He was named Africa Entrepreneur of the Year at the African Achievers Awards in the United Kingdom in 2021. He was also honored with GH CAPTAIN's Award in 2019 for his contributions to the socio-economic development of the country.

Krobea Asante Technical and Vocational School is a second-cycle institution in Effiduase Asokore in the Sekyere East District in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. The school is located on the outskirt of Asokore off Ahensan Road. The school is run by the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Service in Ghana. In 2015, the school won the Member of Parliament's Independence Cup and was also the second Best Technical Institute in the Ashanti Region.
