Kenneth "Kenny" Allen (born 8 October 1969) is a British Paralympic archer.
He competed in individual and team recurve in the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London and won his first World Championship medal in Bangkok in 2013.
Allen was born with spina bifida and lives in Wymondham, Norfolk. During the 2012 Summer Paralympics he set a new Paralympic record with 651 points. [2]
When reclassification took effect in April 2014, Allen was no longer eligible to compete in para-archery under the new rules and decided to focus on able-bodied events instead. [1]
Allen is married and has two children. [2]

Para-archery classification is the classification system for para-archery used to create a level playing field for archers with a different range of disabilities. Governance in the sport is through the International Archery Federation. Early classification systems for the sport were created during the 1940s and based on medical classification. This has subsequently changed to a functional mobility classification with the exception of blind archery.
Zahra Nemati is an Iranian Paralympic and Olympic archer. She originally competed in taekwondo before she was paralyzed in a car accident. At the 2012 Summer Paralympics she won two medals, an individual gold and team bronze. She has qualified to compete at both the 2016 Summer Olympics and the 2016 Summer Paralympics. She was the flag bearer at the 2016 Olympics and the postponed 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo where she shared the honour with thrower Nourmohammad Arekhi.
Guillermo Javier Rodríguez González is an adaptive archer from Spain. He won a gold medal at the Spanish Archery Championship for Physically Handicapped in 2010. Gonzalez represented Spain at the 2012 Summer Paralympics, and the 2013 IPC World Championships. He shoots both the recurve and compound bows. He finished just out of the medals at the London Paralympics.
José Manuel Marín Rodríguez is an archer from Spain. He represented Spain at the 2004 Summer Paralympics, 2008 Summer Paralympics and 2012 Summer Paralympics. He has also competed in several world championships.
Sharon Vennard is a British competitive archer who competed at the 2012 Summer Paralympics.
Archery at the 2016 Summer Paralympics was held between 10 and 17 September 2016 at the Sambadrome Marquês de Sapucaí in the Maracana zone of Rio de Janeiro, and consisted of nine events. Although featuring the same number of events as in the 2012 Paralympic Games in London, their make-up changed substantially, with three men's events, three women's events and three events for mixed gender teams. In each category, two events involved the compound bow - one for wheelchair athletes, the other open - with an open event for recurve bow, the bow used for all Olympic events.

Öznur Cüre Girdi is a Turkish Paralympian archer competing in the women's compound bow W2 event. She is Paralympics, world and European champion, and holds a world records.
Phoebe Paterson Pine is a British paralympian and archer. She won gold in the Women's individual compound open at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo. She defeated Jessica Stretton, and Tatiana Andrievskaia, to advance to the final. She compteted at the 2024 Paralympics in Paris.
Ebrahim Ranjbarkivaj is an Iranian paralympic archer. He competed at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in the archery competition, being awarded the bronze medal in the men's individual recurve open event. He also competed in the mixed team recurve open event, being awarded the silver medal with his teammate Zahra Nemati. He had competed in archery events at the 2000 and 2012 Summer Paralympics, without winning a medal.
Ben Thompson is an American para-archer since 2014. As a compound archery competitor, Thompson won bronze at the 2015 Parapan American Games. At the World Para Archery Championships, Thompson was first in 2017 and 2019 in the men's open compound. During the men's open compound team events with the United States, Thompson was first in 2015 and third in 2017. He also competed at the 2022 World Para Archery Championships and 2022 World Games.
