Kenny Jacobs is an Irish businessman, born in Cork. [1] Jacobs attended school at Christian Brothers College and graduated from University College Cork in 1997 with a degree in commerce. [2] He was announced as CEO of the DAA in November 2022, and began in January 2023.

His previous roles included Chief Marketing Officer at Ryanair. [3] When Jacobs arrived at Ryanair in 2014, it was as part of a move by the airline to – as Michael O'Leary had put it – “stop unnecessarily pissing people off”. [4]

He has also worked for major companies including the Metro Group, MoneySuperMarket, and Tesco in Ireland and the UK. [5]

In December 2025 Jacobs took a leave of absence from the DAA, pending the agreement of an exit-package. [6]
