Kevin Carr (born 6 November 1958) is an English former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper, making over 200 appearances in the Football League.

Career

Born in Morpeth, Carr played for Burnley, Newcastle United, Carlisle United, Darlington, Middlesbrough, Hartlepool United, Blyth Spartans and Bedlington Terriers. [1] [3] [4]

After retiring as a footballer, he joined the police, become a detective constable with Northumbria Police. [5] [6]

The Tyne–Wear derby, also known as the North East derby, is a local derby between the association football clubs Sunderland and Newcastle United.
