Kevin Pazmino (born February 16) is an American college basketball player for the Nicholls Colonels. He previously played for the Florida Gators, where he won an NCAA championship.
Pazmino was born in Weston, Florida, to Mayra Montalvo and Javier Pazmino, who moved to the United States from Ecuador. He has a younger sister named Caitlin and an older brother named Israel. For high school, Pazmino attended Cypress Bay High School.
In 2022, Pazmino joined the Santa Fe Saints for the 2022–2023 season, where he didn't play any minutes due to being a redshirt freshman. In the 2023–2024 season, Pazmino began to receive minutes as the starting guard, where he averaged 10.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game.
After entering the transfer portal, Pazmino joined the Florida Gators as a walk-on. [1] During his tenure with the team, he appeared in three games as a sophomore. Despite seeing no minutes, Pazmino, along with his teammates, won the 2025 NCAA championship against the Houston Cougars. [2] [3] [4]
In 2025, Pazmino transferred to Nicholls State University for his junior year. [5]
Pazmino represented Ecuador for the 2025 Junior Pan American Games where he finished top three in scoring, and won bronze for Ecuador at the 2025 Pan American Games in 3x3 Basketball. [6]
