Kevin Whitted is a retired American basketball player and coach. He played in Europe after a successful career at University of Tenneseee. He attended the same High School as Michael Jordan at Wilmington Laney High School. The school retired his Jersey and can be found right beside Michael's jersey in the schools Gymnasium.
During the 2007-08 Premier Basketball League season Whitted coached the Wilmington Sea Dawgs. [1] They played in the East Division. They finished the regular season at 11-9 and tied for second in the division with the Reading Railers behind the Rochester Razorsharks. They made the playoffs and faced the Maryland Nighthawks in the first round but lost. On April 22, 2008, Kevin Whitted resigned as head coach of the Sea Dawgs [2] On October 17, Dale Kuhl was named head coach. [3]
On July 29, 2009 Whitted was named an assistant coach for the Springfield Armor. [4]
On October 22, 2012 Whitted was named interim coach for Southwest Tennessee Community College. [5]
On October 13, 2014 Kevin Whitted was named as the first coach of the Westchester Knicks. [6] On March 30, 2015, the Knicks announced via Twitter that head coach Kevin Whitted was relieved of his duties and that assistant coach Craig Hodges would serve as the interim head coach for the final week of the 2014-15 season. James William Cartwright is an American former professional basketball player and a former head coach of the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association (NBA). A 7'1" center, he played 16 seasons for the New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls and Seattle SuperSonics, helping the Bulls capture consecutive championships in the 1991, 1992 and 1993 seasons. Darrell Kurt Rambis is a Greek-American former professional basketball player and coach who is a senior basketball adviser for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). As a player, he won four NBA championships while playing power forward for the Lakers. Rambis was a key member of the Showtime era Lakers and was extremely popular for his hard-nosed blue collar play. Craig Anthony Hodges is an American former professional basketball player and former head coach of the Westchester Knicks of the NBA Development League. He played in the NBA for 10 seasons and led the league in 3-point shooting percentage three times. He won two NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls and, along with Larry Bird, is one of only two players to win three consecutive Three Point Contests at the National Basketball Association All-Star Weekend, winning the competition in 1990, 1991, and 1992. Hodges also holds the Three Point Contest records for the most consecutive shots made with 19, set in 1991, and the most points scored in a single round at 25, set in 1986. He was later a head coach at Chicago State University, an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Lakers and head coach of the Halifax Rainmen of the National Basketball League of Canada.

In 2013, they will play at Blizzard Athletics, having previously played at the Joe and Barbara Schwartz Center on the campus of Cape Fear Community College.
