The Prime Minister of Jordan,Hani Al-Mulki,was tasked with forming a cabinet on 29 May 2016. The new cabinet was sworn in by King Abdullah II on 1 June 2016. After the September 2016 general election,Mulki formed a new cabinet. The Cabinet consisted of 28 members,three of them also serving as Deputy Prime Ministers. 11 Ministers returned from the latest formation of the previous cabinet of Abdullah Ensour,while 9 others had served in earlier cabinets. 8 Ministers had no previous experience in cabinet. Four women obtained a position as Minister. Three university presidents were appointed to Mulki's cabinet:Rida Khawaldeh,Wajih Owais and Mahmoud Sheyyab. The cabinet reformed the Ministry of Youth,which had been abandoned in 2012.
Bisher Khasawneh is a Jordanian politician and diplomat who has been serving as the 43rd Prime Minister of Jordan and Minister of Defence since 12 October 2020.
Khaled Abdelaziz Sulaiman al-Karaki is a Jordanian author,poet,academic and politician. He served as the Jordanian Minister of Culture (1989–91) and Deputy Prime Minister. He is a past president of Jerash University (2002–2006) and the University of Jordan (2007–2010). He currently chairs the Jordan Academy of Arabic.
Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh was tasked with forming a cabinet on 7 October 2020. He was sworn in along with his cabinet on 12 October 2020. The two exceptions were Minister of State Mahmoud Kharabsheh who had been tested positive for COVID-19,and Minister of State for Follow-up and Government Coordination Nawaf Wasfi Tell who had to follow quarantine requirements after return from abroad.
Ahmad Nouri Ziadat is the Jordanian Minister of Justice. He was appointed as minister on 7 May 2021. Previously he had served as Minister of State for Legal Affairs since 12 October 2020 in Bisher Al-Khasawneh's Cabinet led by Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh.
The second government of Hussein Arnous was formed after appointment by the President of Syria on 10 August 2021 and took the oath of office on 14 August 2021,after the presidential election held in May. This replaced the caretaker ministry formed in July. The government is the 95th since Syria gained independence from the Ottoman Empire in 1918 and is the eighth during the presidency of Bashar al-Assad.
Yousef Al Shamali is the Jordanian Minister of Industry,Trade and Supply. He was appointed as minister on 11 October 2021. Previously he had served as Minister of Labor since 29 March 2021 in Bisher Al-Khasawneh's Cabinet led by Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh.
Nasser Sultan Shraideh is the Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of State for Public Sector Modernisation. He was appointed as minister on 27 October 2022. Previously he had served as Minister of Planning and International Cooperation between 12 October 2020 and 27 October 2022.
Saleh Ali Al-Kharabsheh is the Jordanian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources. He was appointed as minister on 11 October 2021.
