Khanqah-e-Niazia is a Dargah in Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh, it was established by Shah Niyaz Ahmad Barelvi in 1773. [1] [2] It is headed by Shah Mehdi Miyan, sajjada nashin of Khanqah since 2020. [3]
The Khanqah celebrates Jashn-e-Chirag, a tradition of more than 300 years. It is believed to be a festival of Ganga-Jamuni tehzeeb. [4] The Urs is celebrated annually on 6th of Jumadus Sani. [5]

He served as a Member of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council from 1976 to 1980 representing Indian National Congress, but resigned before term end due to 1980 Moradabad riots.
