Saqqaf holds a Bachelor of Economics and Accounting (1984) and a Master of Economics and Statistics (1993) from the University of Jordan. [2] [4]

Omar Al Saqqaf was a Saudi Arabian diplomat and politician who served as the minister of state for foreign affairs being the first Saudi to hold the post. He was among the leading officials of Saudi Arabia in foreign relations and one of the trusted envoys of King Faisal. He died in New York City while serving as the minister of state.
