Kholoud Al-Saqqaf is a Jordanian politician. Previously,she had served as Minister of Investment from 27 October 2022 until 15 September 2024. [1] [2] [3] [4]
Saqqaf holds a Bachelor of Economics and Accounting (1984) and a Master of Economics and Statistics (1993) from the University of Jordan. [2] [5]
Jordan has a population of more than 11.1 million inhabitants as of 2023. Jordanians are the citizens of Jordan. Around 94% of Jordanians are Arabs,while the remaining 6% belong to ethnic minorities,including Circassians,Chechens,Armenians and Kurds. In early 2016 about 30% of the population were non-citizens,a figure including refugees,legal and illegal immigrants. Jordan's annual population growth rate stands at 3.05% as of 2023,with an average birth rate of 2.8. There were 1,977,534 households in Jordan in 2015,with an average of 4.8 persons per household.
The foreign relations of Jordan have been consistently a pro-Western foreign policy.

The Abraham Accords are bilateral agreements on Arab–Israeli normalization signed between Israel and the United Arab Emirates and between Israel and Bahrain on September 15,2020. Mediated by the United States,the announcement of August 13,2020,concerned Israel and the Emirates before the subsequent announcement of an agreement between Israel and Bahrain on September 11,2020. The two exceptions were Minister of State Mahmoud Kharabsheh who had been tested positive for COVID-19,and Minister of State for Follow-up and Government Coordination Nawaf Wasfi Tell who had to follow quarantine requirements after return from abroad.
Mohamad Al Ississ is the Jordanian Minister of Finance. He was appointed as minister in November 2019. Previously he had served as Minister of Planning and International Cooperation and Minister of State for Economic Affairs in Omar Razzaz's Cabinet led by Omar Razzaz. He was formerly Special Advisor to His Majesty King Abdullah II,Advisor to His Majesty King Abdullah II for Economic Affairs,and Director of Economic and Social Development in the Office of His Majesty at the Royal Hashemite Court.
Khairy Yasser Abdel Moneim Amr is a Jordanian politician. He had served as Minister of Investment from 11 October 2021 until 27 October 2022.
Omar Al Saqqaf was a Saudi Arabian diplomat and politician who served as the minister of state for foreign affairs being the first Saudi to hold the post. He was among the leading officials of Saudi Arabia in foreign relations and one of the trusted envoys of King Faisal. He died in New York City while serving as the minister of state.
