Khushboo Bangla is an Indian Bengali language television channel. It started to broadcast on 14 October 2017 as the Bangla language cable channel in India. The channel mostly airs content intended for family and coming-of-age generations. Its main audience attraction is Bangla movies. This channel has also aired a Bangladeshi television drama series. Humayun Ahmed was a Bangladeshi novelist, dramatist, screenwriter, filmmaker, songwriter, scholar, and academic. His breakthrough was his debut novel Nondito Noroke published in 1972. He wrote over 200 fiction and non-fiction books. He was one of the most popular authors and filmmakers in post-independence Bangladesh. Pakistani English newspaper Dawn referred to him as the cultural legend of Bangladesh.

He is best known for his directorial debut Projapoti (2011), which was produced by Enayetur Rahman Bappy and under the banner of NTV Production House. It was initially licensed in 2013 as "Renaissance TV", but was later renamed to its current name. The channel began test broadcasts on 5 October 2017, and later commenced official broadcasts ten days later on 15 October 2017.

It began operations on 1 March 2018, with the slogan, "Television Noy, Somporko". Nagorik claims that they do not compete with local Bangladeshi television channels, and instead compete with foreign television channels by working with the local ones.
Khairul Alam Sabuj is a Bangladeshi actor, playwright and translator. As of 2020, he published four story books and wrote more than 35 television dramas. He received Bangla Academy Literary Award (2019) in the translation category by the Government of Bangladesh.
