Strahil Velchev, better known by his artist name KiNK, is a Bulgarian producer, DJ and live performer. [1] [2]

Velchev became interested in electronic music in the 1990s [3] and started making his own music a few years later. [4] In 2005, he released his track, "Same Old Thing", on vinyl. [5] He has worked with multiple record labels, including Ovum and Rush Hour. [6] In May 2014, his debut album Under Destruction was released with Macro. [6] His second album, Playground, was released with Running Back in November 2017. [7] In 2018, he launched his own label, named after his hometown Sofia. [8]

In his live performances, KiNK is known for improvisation and interaction with the audience. [4] According to a poll, Resident Advisor readers named him the Best Live Electronic Act of 2015 [9] and 2016. [10] In 2018, MusicRadar named him the best live electronic act in the world. [11]

KiNK also releases music under the alias Kirilik [12] and with his partner Rachel Row. [13]

Justin Sweatt, known under the alias Xander Harris, is an American electronic musician. Hailing from Austin, Texas, his musical style incorporates elements of darkwave, Italo disco and the soundtracks of 1980s horror films. As explained by Tiny Mix Tapes, Harris creates music with an entirely digital setup consisting largely synthesisers, sequencers and laptop. The pseudonym Xander Harris is named for a character from television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Andrew Ryce of Resident Advisor wrote in 2013 how Harris' music, along with that of Steve Moore, represented the growing appearance of new age elements in electronic dance music, describing Harris' work as an example "of this kind of trance-not-trance".
