Kingdom University (KU) is a private university in Bahrain offering tertiary education and training. It was founded in 2001.
Kingdom University obtained its license in 2001, though it started student intake only in 2004 on a temporary campus that was located in Manama. In July 2013, the university moved to its new permanent campus in Riffa (Al-Hajiyat), Bahrain. The new campus provides a fresh and promising learning environment and study facilities. In 2016, the university embarked on a significant expansion which includes the development of a new six-story academic building and an extension of car parks.
The university began in 2004 with approximately 67 students. It has rapidly grown since then to reach more than 1800 alumni by the end of 2015 from the different colleges (Law, Arts, Business Administration, IT, & Architectural Engineering & Design).
Kingdom University received recognition from the Quality Assurance Authority for Education and Training (QAAET) for almost all of its programs.[ citation needed ]
The university president is Prof. Yusuf AbdulGhaffar [1] since January 2004.

The University of Kansas (KU) is a public research university with its main campus in Lawrence, Kansas. Two branch campuses are in the Kansas City metropolitan area on the Kansas side: the university's medical school and hospital in Kansas City, Kansas, the Edwards Campus in Overland Park. There are also educational and research sites in Garden City, Hays, Leavenworth, Parsons, and Topeka, an agricultural education center in rural north Douglas County, and branches of the medical school in Salina and Wichita. The university is a member of the Association of American Universities and is classified among "R1: Doctoral Universities – Very high research activity".
Carleton University is an English-language public research university in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 1942 as Carleton College, the institution originally operated as a private, non-denominational evening college to serve returning World War II veterans. Carleton was chartered as a university by the provincial government in 1952 through The Carleton University Act, which was then amended in 1957, giving the institution its current name. The university is named for the now-dissolved Carleton County, which included the city of Ottawa at the time the university was founded. Carleton County, in turn, was named in honour of Guy Carleton, 1st Baron Dorchester, who was Governor General of The Canadas from 1786 to 1796. The university moved to its current campus in 1959, growing rapidly in size during the 1960s as the Ontario government increased support for post-secondary institutions and expanded access to higher education.
The University of Portland (UP) is a private Catholic university in Portland, Oregon. It was founded in 1901 and is affiliated with the Congregation of Holy Cross, which also founded UP's sister school the University of Notre Dame. The university enrolls approximately 3,730 students.
Beirut Arab University (BAU) (Arabic: جـامعة بيروت العربية) is a Lebanese private university located in Beirut, Lebanon. It was founded by the Lebanese Waqf El-Bir wal Ihsan Society in 1960. The university attained the International Institutional Accreditation from the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) - an official international German foundation - registered in the European Quality Assurance Register (EQAR). The university is ranked 801–1000 in the QS World University Rankings and 40 in Arab Region Rankings for 2022.
The University of Moratuwa is a public university in Sri Lanka. It is located on the bank of the Bolgoda Lake in Katubedda, Moratuwa. Apart from academics including undergraduate and postgraduate studies, the University of Moratuwa presents social and cultural activities, student services, societies, and sports and recreational activities. The institution was known as Ceylon College of Technology, Katubedda before gaining university status. Its roots go back to the Institute of Practical Technology founded in 1960 to provide technical education.
The College of Engineering, Trivandrum, commonly shortened to CET, is an engineering college in the Indian state of Kerala, situated in Thiruvananthapuram. The Pakistan Navy Engineering College (PNEC), (Urdu: دانشکدہ بحریہ برائے علومِ مہندسی ، پاکستان) also called PNS Jauhar, is a military college operated by the Pakistan Navy. Located in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, it is also a constituent college of the National University of Sciences and Technology, Pakistan. It grants bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in the science and engineering disciplines.
Delhi Technological University (DTU), formerly known as the Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) is a state university in Rohini, Delhi, India. It was established in 1941 as Delhi Polytechnic. In 1952, it started giving degrees after being affiliated with the University of Delhi. The institute has been under the Government of Delhi since 1963 and was affiliated with the University of Delhi from 1952 to 2009. In 2009, the college was given university status, thus changing its name to Delhi Technological University.

Bahrain Polytechnic is a government-owned tertiary education institute located in the Kingdom of Bahrain. It has been established by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa; King of Bahrain by Royal Decree in July 2008. It is considered a key initiative for the Education and Training Development Committee; a project of the Bahrain Vision 2030 master plan. Bahrain Polytechnic delivers applied learning, technical education, skills-based and occupational training. Degrees offered range from certificate courses, diplomas, to bachelor's degree levels.
