Kinterbish Creek is a stream in the U.S. states of Alabama and Mississippi. [1] It is a tributary to the Tombigbee River.

Kinterbish is a name derived from the Choctaw language purported to mean "beaver dam". [2] Variant names are "Abeshai Creek", "Big Kinterbish Creek", "Kintabish Creek", "Kintabush Creek". [1]

Vienna is an unincorporated community about 6 miles from Mississippi in Pickens County, Alabama, United States. It was a prosperous river port from the 1830s until the American Civil War, situated along the eastern shore of the Tombigbee River on the southwestern border of the county. It declined rapidly in importance with the building of a railroad through Pickens County following the war. In 1917 the post office closed and this marked the end of Vienna's official status as a town.

San Jose Creek is an intermittent, tributary stream of the San Gabriel River in Los Angeles County, California. The mouth of San Jose Creek is at an elevation of 194 feet at its confluence with the San Gabriel River, 3.5 miles (5.6 km) southwest of Bassett, California. Its source is at 960 feet near the Los Angeles County Fairplex, at 34°04′50″N117°45′38″W, where it has its confluence with Thompson Wash, actually a continuation of the creek into the San Gabriel Mountains. From Thompson Wash, San Jose Creek flows nearly 20 miles (32 km) westwards from Pomona into the San Gabriel River through the Pomona Valley and San Gabriel Valley.
