Kip Gamblin (born 5 July 1975) is an Australian ballet dancer and actor. From 2003 until 2005, Gamblin played Scott Hunter in Home and Away . The part earned him the 2004 Logie Award for Most Popular New Male Talent. After moving to the UK, Gamblin was cast as paramedic Greg Fallon in the medical drama series Casualty . Following his move back to Australia, Gamblin starred in All Saints and Dance Academy . In 2013, Gamblin began appearing in Neighbours as Brad Willis, making him the third actor to play the role after Benjamin Grant Mitchell and Scott Michaelson. He made his final appearance in that role on 7 April 2017.

Gamblin trained as a ballet dancer at The McDonald College of Performing Arts, Sydney and completed his training at the Australian Ballet School, Melbourne. He performed with the Australian Ballet, the West Australian Ballet and the Sydney Dance Company between 1994 and 2002, and had leading roles in Paquita and Le Corsaire among many other ballet productions. In 2000 he was chosen to perform as the sole male dancer presenting Barbra Streisand on stage for her Australian tour of Timeless.

Film credits for Gamblin include the 2001 film Moulin Rouge! , in which he played a Latin dancer and the Australian feature films Kick and Mao's Last Dancer . [1] From January 2003 to November 2005 Gamblin played the role of Scott Hunter in the Australian television soap opera Home and Away for which he won the Logie Award for Most Popular New Male Talent in 2004. [2] He departed the series in the 2005 season finale.

Gamblin moved to Great Britain with his family in 2005, but has since moved back to Australia. From June 2006 to 2008 he played the role of paramedic Greg Fallon in the British medical series Casualty. [1] He also made an appearance as Greg Fallon in Holby City , when the character was one of the paramedics who attended the scene of Mark and Tricia Williams' car accident. In 2008, Gamblin portrayed the role of Dr Adam Rossi in the Australian medical series All Saints . [3] In 2010, Gamblin joined the cast of Australian teen drama series Dance Academy as male dance instructor Zach. [1]

In 2012, Gamblin portrayed the role of Rick Taylor in the Australian television drama series Tricky Business which lasted for one season. In May 2013, Gamblin took over the role of Brad Willis from Scott Michaelson in the Australian television soap opera Neighbours . [4] Gamblin departed the show on 7 April 2017. He filmed his final scenes in late 2016. [5] Gamblin joined the 2017 Australian touring production of The Bodyguard musical as Frank Farmer, alongside Paulini. The production opened on 21 April at the Sydney Lyric. [6]

Gamblin is married to dancer Linda Ridgway and they have two sons. [1]

Lauren was introduced as the "vivacious" daughter of Lou Carpenter. Vandenbergh described her as being happy, headstrong and into horses. She also thought that just by looking at the character you knew she was a girl next door type. Lauren's major storylines during her first stint in the show saw her have an affair with Brad Willis, join a religious cult and begin a casual relationship with Wayne Duncan. Vandenbergh decided to leave the serial when she was told that Lauren would not feature prominently in storylines anymore. She departed on 2 March 1994.

Scott Michaelson is an Australian retired actor and talent manager who is most famous for playing Brad Willis in Neighbours. He took over the role from Benjamin Grant Mitchell, who had been a guest character and later played Brad's cousin Cameron Hudson for over a year.

The Willis family are a fictional family from the Australian soap opera Neighbours. They were introduced by Don Battye in 1989, but left screens in 1996, before being reintroduced in 2013. The first family member to be seen on-screen was Brad Willis, who appeared in a guest capacity from October 1989, and then his sister Cody from November. The family became a more permanent fixture with the arrival of patriarch Doug Willis and his wife Pam, who moved onto Ramsay Street the following year. Brad Willis is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera Neighbours. He made his first screen appearance during the episode broadcast on 31 October 1989. The character was initially played by Benjamin Mitchell, before Scott Michaelson took over the role two years later. Brad was re-introduced alongside his sister, Gaby, during a period of roller coaster ratings for the show. Michaelson revealed that as soon as he learnt he had won the role of Brad, he went surfing five days in a row, as he knew he was going to be busy over the upcoming months. Michaelson signed a new twelve-month contract with Neighbours in October 1992 and a year later, he announced he would be leaving the soap. Michaelson filmed his final scenes in November and departed on 15 December 1993.

"Episode 6646", also known as "The Eclipse", is the 6646th episode of the Australian soap opera Neighbours. It premiered on Eleven on 20 May 2013. Matt Turner (<i>Neighbours</i>) Soap opera character

Matt Turner is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera Neighbours, played by Josef Brown. The actor was cast shortly after he completed a guest stint on rival soap opera Home and Away. Brown relocated to Melbourne for filming and he shot his first scenes as Matt in October 2012. The character was created and introduced to Neighbours as the husband of Lauren Carpenter, who was reintroduced after nineteen years as part of a major overhaul of the show's cast. Matt made his first screen appearance alongside his family during the episode broadcast on 7 February 2013. Brown departed Neighbours on 25 March 2015, following Matt's death. Brown reprised the role for one episode on 9 August 2016.

"The Erinsborough Tornado" is a storyline from the Australian television soap opera Neighbours, which began on 29 August 2014 when a large storm hit the fictional suburb of Erinsborough and later developed into a tornado. The storyline was one of the dramatic events of Neighbours in 2014 and saw many characters' fates left in question, including long standing characters Paul Robinson and Lou Carpenter. Guy Carpenter is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera Neighbours, played by Andrew Williams. The actor was initially hesitant about joining the show, as he had been about to secure a record contract. He made his first screen appearance on 10 September 1991. A few months later, Williams decided to leave Neighbours as he felt unfulfilled by the role. He also wanted more time to pursue his music career. Guy departed on 27 March 1992. Williams reprised his role for one episode as part of the show's 30th anniversary on 18 March 2015.

Episode 7202 focuses on the conclusion to a long-running love triangle between Lauren Turner, Brad Willis and Terese Willis. The "Erinsborough High Fire" is a storyline from the Australian television soap opera Neighbours that ran on 20 and 21 October 2015, airing over episodes 7237 and 7238. These episodes were broadcast on 4 and 5 November 2015 in the United Kingdom. The storyline sees the fictional Erinsborough High School engulf in a deliberately-lit fire, which leads to a long arson mystery. Involving half the cast, the storyline was Neighbours' big stunt event of the year and came about when Paul Robinson sells the school to Eden Hills Grammar for it to be closed, causing the staff and the students to protest in a school sleep-out. Many characters' have their storylines climaxed whilst being trapped in the fire, including the love triangle between Brad Willis, Lauren Turner and Terese Willis when Brad chooses to save Lauren over Terese. Expecting mother Amber Turner and Susan Kennedy are trapped in a classroom during the fire when Amber goes into labour and the two are forced to decide whether to "fight or flight" in "genuinely frightening" scenes.

<i>Neighbours</i> 30th Anniversary 2015 Neighbours storyline

The Neighbours 30th Anniversary was a series of celebrations to mark the 30th anniversary of Australian television soap opera Neighbours. The celebrations span over two weeks, beginning on 4 March 2015 in Australia, while starting on 18 March in the United Kingdom. The anniversary features many storylines, but points around Paul Robinson's Erinsborough festival and the wedding of Daniel Robinson and Amber Turner. The serial's executive producer, Jason Herbison, began planning the 30th anniversary over a year in advance. Over ten former cast members from all eras of the show were invited back to "honour the past and present". Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan were also invited, but they both downturned the offer. The celebrations marked Ian Smith and Anne Charleston's returns to Neighbours as Harold and Madge Bishop respectively. Madge was last seen during her death in 2001 and returns as a ghost in Harold's mind, which Herbison was initially worried would not be accepted by Charleston nor Smith, however both approved of it. The storyline was also popular amongst viewers.

Ben Hall is an Australian actor. He is known for his roles in Australian television series which began with his role as Finton Kelly in the Showcase drama Devil's Playground. From 2016 until 2022, Hall played the role of Ned Willis in the soap opera Neighbours. In 2023, Hall filmed the role of Mark Waugh in the Nine Network television series, Warnie.
