Kirk John Norcross (born 21 April 1988) [1] [2] is an English television personality, best known for being a cast member on the ITV2 reality series The Only Way Is Essex from 2010 to 2013. He also participated in the ninth series of Celebrity Big Brother in 2012, and the third series of Ex on the Beach in 2015.

Career

In 2010, he began appearing in the television series The Only Way Is Essex [3] before leaving the show after the third series was aired. Norcross returned to the show in the seventh series, although he departed again in series eight in March 2013. Norcross was also on the front cover of the March 2011 issue of Attitude .[ citation needed ]

In 2012, Norcross was a housemate on the ninth series of Celebrity Big Brother. He was the fourth housemate to be evicted on Day 16 after receiving the fewest votes to save. [4] In July 2012, Norcross featured in an advertising campaign with friend Jodie Marsh. [5] On 30 September 2012, Norcross returned for the seventh series of The Only Way Is Essex, but just six months later, on 21 March 2013, he announced that he had left the show again. In April 2013, Norcross released his autobiography, Essex Boy. [6]

In 2015, Norcross appeared on the third series of Ex on the Beach . [7] In January 2023, Norcross joined OnlyFans and began uploading content. [8]

Personal life

In May 2013, photographs of Norcross naked and masturbating were leaked onto the internet. Norcross apologised for the images on Twitter. [9] Norcross said in 2015: "I'm probably most famous for masturbating and smoking simultaneously on the internet." [10]

In January 2021, Norcross' father Mick died by suicide at the age of 57. [11] During a podcast interview with Daniel O'Reilly, he said that discovering his father's body resulted in a drug relapse. [12]

Norcross has two children, a son and a daughter. [13]

In November 2022, Norcross was involved in an incident where Alex Alam, his acquaintance, was attacked by her ex-partner David Richards after Richards saw Norcross kissing Alam. Alam suffered severe injuries, including three skull fractures and requiring 100 stitches. Norcross, who had kissed Ms. Alam on her doorstep minutes earlier, was contacted by Alam via FaceTime, where she told him she was dying from the attack. Norcross immediately returned to find her children crying and helped them. Richards was later arrested and convicted for the attack. [14] [15]

The second series of The Only Way Is Essex, a British semi-reality television programme, began airing on 20 March 2011 on ITV2. The series concluded on 4 May 2011 and consisted of fourteen episodes. This is the first series to include Carol Wright, Chloe Sims, Debbie Douglas, Frankie Essex, Gemma Collins, Joey Essex, Mick Norcross and Nicola Goodger, and briefly included Leah Wright, the cousin of Mark and Jess Wright, before she later returned in the ninth series. It is the last series to include Amy Childs before her return in 2020. The series heavily focused on the relationship between Lauren G and Mark, where the pair celebrate an engagement, failed to win over the support from the Wright family, before splitting when Mark puts his club promoting before his fiancée. It also featured the demise of Arg and Lydia's relationship, the blossoming romance between Joey and Sam, and Kirk and Lauren P taking things to the next step despite the disapproval from her best friend Maria.

The seventh series of The Only Way Is Essex, a British semi-reality television programme, began airing on 30 September 2012 on ITV2. The series concluded on 31 October 2012 after ten episodes. Following the series, three festive special episodes aired from 2 December to 19 December 2012, including one live episode. The Only Way Is Essexmas special episode is included on the Series 7 DVD and Britbox, however for unknown reasons the other two specials were aren't on this DVD. This was the first series to include brand new cast members and siblings Jasmin and Danny Walia. Jasmin had previously appeared during the Essexmas special of the first series auditioning for girl band LOLA.

"TOWIE Live" is the second episode of a series of special episodes airing throughout December 2012 of The Only Way Is Essex. The episode originally aired live on the ITV2 television network in the United Kingdom on 3 December 2012, becoming the first reality television series to ever broadcast a live episode.

The eighth series of The Only Way Is Essex, a British semi-reality television programme, began airing on 24 February 2013 on ITV2. The series consisted of 12 episodes. Series 8 marked the first series not to feature Lydia Bright, after her departure from the series in December 2012. The series also saw the departure of numerous supporting cast members and introduced new supporting cast members.

The ninth series of the British semi-reality television programme The Only Way Is Essex began airing on 2 June 2013 and included the 100th episode of the series which aired 12 June 2013. This was the first series not to feature both Mick Norcross and Debbie Douglas after their departure from the show during the previous series although Douglas made a cameo appearance in Episode 11. Both appeared in the show from series 2–8. It was also the first series not to include Kirk Norcross since he returned to the cast in series 7. On 12 April 2013, ahead of series, Lucy Mecklenburgh announced on Twitter that her relationship with Mario Falcone had ended. The series began with two The Only Way Is Marbs specials.

The second series of Ex on the Beach, a British television programme, began airing on 27 January 2015 on MTV. The series concluded on 17 March 2015 after 8 episodes. The series was confirmed in July 2014 when it was announced that filming would begin soon. Exes for this series included stars of Geordie Shore Charlotte Crosby and Gary Beadle.

The third series of Ex on the Beach, a British television programme, began airing on 11 August 2015 on MTV. The series concluded on 13 October 2015 after 10 episodes. The group of cast members for this series included former The Only Way Is Essex star Kirk Norcross, whilst exes featured star of Geordie Shore and series 1 returnee Vicky Pattison as well as Rogan O'Connor who was an original cast member from the second series. Jordan Davies also joined the series as an ex having already appeared in Magaluf Weekender as well as Cami-Li, who appeared in fifteenth series of Celebrity Big Brother earlier in the year. This was the first series where the "Tablet of Terror" gave the cast members the decision to evict one another in evil twists. As well as this, it was the first series to include a same-sex ex. The series was filmed in Cancún, Mexico.

The seventeenth series of the British semi-reality television programme The Only Way Is Essex was confirmed on 3 June 2015 when it was announced that it had renewed for at least a further six series, taking it up to 21 series. It is the second series to be included in its current contract. The series will launch on 28 February 2016. Ahead of the series it was announced that cast member Jess Wright had quit the show having appeared since the first series in 2010. Ferne McCann also confirmed that she would be taking a break from the show but would be back. It will be the first series to include new cast members Chloe Meadows, Courtney Green, and Chris and Jon Clark. Jon previously appeared on ITV2's Love Island.

Big Brother 2023, also known as Big Brother 20, was the twentieth series of Big Brother to air in the United Kingdom. It is the first series to air on ITV2 after ITV gained the rights to the series in August 2022, almost four years since it last aired on Channel 5. The series began on 8 October 2023, with a launch show airing simultaneously on both ITV and ITV2, with the remainder of the series broadcasting primarily on the latter channel. It is co-presented by AJ Odudu and Will Best, who also front the companion show, Big Brother: Late & Live.
