Kirsten Dawn Madison (born February 14, 1968) is the Vice President for Government Relations at the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), effective June 27, 2022. Before that, Madison worked for the United States Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs as the Director of Homeland Security. She served as Assistant Secretary of State for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs from May 11, 2018, to January 20, 2021. [1]
Madison earned a MSc in European Studies from the London School of Economics in 1991 and a BA in International Relations from Goucher College in 1990. [2]

From 2011 to 2021, he was the Executive Vice President at the Atlantic Council, a nonpartisan think tank focused on international cooperation. A former civil servant, Wilson served as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for European Affairs at the National Security Council during the second term of President George W. Bush.

The Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies is the international relations and public policy school of Boston University. It was officially established in 2014 by consolidating and renaming a number of long-established programs in international and regional studies at Boston University dating back to 1953. The current dean of the Pardee School is Scott D. The National Defence and Security Council is an eleven-member national security council responsible for security and defence affairs in Myanmar. Though the president is the chief executive of the government of Myanmar, the 2008 Constitution reserves certain important executive powers for the NDSC and certain actions of the president and the Tatmadaw (military) require approval by the NDSC. Of the 11 members, the commander-in-chief of defence services appoints 5 members and controls 6 votes. The NDSC nominates the candidate for commander-in-chief, meaning the sitting commander-in-chief has the power to choose his successor and the Tatmadaw is guaranteed the permanent ability to run itself with no oversight from the elected government. The NDSC's existence is enshrined in Chapter V of the Constitution of Myanmar, and it was formed on 31 March 2011.
