Kathleen Ann Hollerbach is an American stand-up comedian and actress. She was born in Sacramento, California. [1]

In 1985, Hollerbach was a founding member of The Comedy Store Players. [2] [3] [4] In the film Batman she played Becky Narita, the TV news anchor poisoned on air by The Joker.

Hollerbach co-wrote and performed in the BBC radio sitcoms Unnatural Acts and At Home with the Hardys . [5]

Personal life

Hollerbach was married to British comedian Jeremy Hardy from 1986 until 2006. They have one daughter. Both appeared in many of the same shows. She became a teacher in 1996. [6] [7]

The Comedy Store Players are a group of improvisational comedians who perform at The Comedy Store in London. The group first came into being in October 1985.

Unnatural Acts was a BBC radio comedy series written by, and starring, Jeremy Hardy and Kit Hollerbach as "The Hardys" with Paul B Davies and Caroline Leddy as "Paul and Caroline". Two series were made in 1987 and 1988, with the third renamed At Home With The Hardys and broadcast in 1990. Further script input was from Pete Sinclair. The show was played as a straight sitcom but with considerable surreal elements. Much humour was had from Hollerbach's exaggeratedly American reactions to English life.
