Kjell Gustaf Svensson (born 10 September 1938) is a retired Swedish ice hockey goaltender. He competed at the 1960 and 1964 Olympics and finished in fifth and second place, respectively. He won the world title in 1962, finishing second in 1963 and 1967 and third in 1965. Nationally he won only one title, with Södertälje SK in 1956, but was selected to the Swedish all-star teams in 1960–61 and 1963–64. [1] [2]

After retiring from competitions Svensson worked as a coach with Södertälje SK in 1972 and 1975–78 and with the Swedish national team in 1973–74. [3] Then he had a successful career with Scania AB, becoming Senior Vice-President of truck manufacturing. This career made him resign from his position on the board of directors of the Swedish Ice Hockey Association in 1986. [1]

Erik Ronald "Sura-Pelle" Pettersson was a Swedish ice hockey player. He played 252 international games for Sweden between 1955 and 1967, including thirteen World Championships and three Olympic Games. Between 1951 and 1967 Pettersson played for Surahammars IF, Södertälje SK and Västra Frölunda IF. He won the Swedish championship twice, in 1956 with Södertälje and in 1965 with Västra Frölunda. He won Guldpucken in 1959–60 as the most valuable player in Swedish Championship playoffs.

The Nybro Vikings is an ice-hockey club from Nybro in Sweden. The team was playing in the highest league in Sweden for two seasons 1968–69 and 1969–70 and the second highest league during the 70s and 80s and again for seven years from 2002 to 2009 in HockeyAllsvenskan. The team was relegated to the third division, Division 1, during the 2008-2009 season after finishing only 15th in the regular season and only third in the following qualification series with six teams, two from HockeyAllsvenskan and four from Division 1. The team currently plays in Liljas arena, which takes about 2,400 spectators. Liljas arena is the fourth oldest ice hockey arena in Sweden, finished 1963. 1984 the arena was rebuilt.

Jens Erik Öhling is a retired professional Swedish ice hockey player. He played for Djurgårdens IF during most of his professional career. He made his debut in Elitserien in 1979 against Västra Frölunda. Öhling was the team captain during the 1995–96 season. After 18 seasons in Djurgården, Öhling ended his career in Södertälje SK in 1998. The number 11 has been retired in his honour by Djurgården.

Göte Paulus "Vicke Hallon" Blomqvist was a Swedish ice hockey player. Between 1947 and 1957 he capped 108 international matches and scored 68 goals. He won a world title in 1953 and bronze medals at the 1952 Winter Olympics and 1954 World Championships. He was also a Swedish champion with Södertälje SK in 1953 and 1956 and the best Swedish scorer in 1951–53. He holds the record of most goals scored during one match (8) at the Swedish Championships.

He played for the clubs Södertälje SK, IF Björklöven, VIK Västerås HK and in Italy. He won the World Championship for Sweden in 1987 and a silver for Sweden at the World Championships in 1986 and he also won a Swedish title with Södertälje in 1985.

Hans Hjelm was a Swedish ice hockey player, best known for representing Hammarby IF and winning two domestic titles with the club. He won the silver medal with Sweden in the 1947 World Championships. Hjelm also played bandy.
