Pleix is a virtual community of digital artists based in Paris. Composed of seven individuals, Pleix works on a shared philosophy, using moving art and music to showcase their view of the world. So far this has manifested itself in several videos, adverts and installations that are all based on staples of contemporary culture. They work has been presented in places like Centre Pompidou, Guggenheim Bilbao, la Gaîté lyrique, I.C.A London, and the Tokyo Museum of Photography.
Nuit Blanche is an annual all-night or night-time arts festival of a city. A Nuit Blanche typically has museums, private and public art galleries, and other cultural institutions open and free of charge, with the centre of the city itself being turned into a de facto art gallery, providing space for art installations, performances, themed social gatherings, and other activities.
Lina Dorado is a contemporary artist and filmmaker based in New York City noted for her multimedia work and travel photography, Lina Dorado has authored two books in bilingual editions: Doble Vista / Second Sight and Drawing Only, Solo Dibujo alongside her long-term collaborator: Luis Cantillo. Their book Doble Vista / Second Sight written by Dorado and photographs by both was acquired by the New York Public Library Museum of Modern Art in New York MOMA and the Whitney Museum for their Artists' Books Collection. In August 2018 her first feature film Pelucas y Rokanrol was theatrically released in Colombia, the film was directed by Mario Duarte and written by Mario Duarte and Lina Dorado.
Gastón Ugalde is considered the father of contemporary bolivian art and was the recipient of the prestigious Konex Award in 2002 along with Oscar Niemeyer. Ugalde was named "the most important living Bolivian artist" by the Konex Foundation in Argentina and was also referred to as the "Andean Warhol" by art critics. Ugalde was also known as "the enfant terrible" of the Bolivian Art Scene.
Danilo Dueñas, has been a professor at the Art Department of the University of The Andes, the School of Fine Arts of the National University of Colombia and at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University since 1990. In 1995, he participated in the exhibitions Mesótica and Transatlántica, curated by Carlos Basualdo at the Museum of Contemporary Art and Design in San José de Costa Rica and the Alejandro Otero Museum of Visual Arts in Caracas, respectively. In 1999, he was the recipient of the Johnnie Walker in the Arts Award granted by Paulo Herkenhoff, for his installation "Espacio Preservado II", presented at the Luis Ángel Arango Library. In 2001, two simultaneous retrospective exhibitions of his works were held at the Museum of Modern Art in Bogotá and the Museum of Art of the National University of Colombia. In 2003, another retrospective exhibition was held at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Caracas. In 2006, he was the international guest at the Caracas FIA and in 2008 he presented "Dentro del espacio expositivo" at Periférico Caracas, curated by Jesus Fuenmayor. His works are also represented in the Museum of Fine Arts in Caracas and the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro. He is now part of the Artist Pension Trust Mexico. During the year 2011, Danilo Dueñas was a guest of the Artists-in-Berlin Programme of the DAAD.
Oscar Rodríguez Naranjo (1907–2006) was a painter from Socorro, Santander Department, Colombia. His works include mainly oil paintings and sculptures.
La Gaîté Lyrique is a digital arts and modern music centre opened by the City of Paris in December 2010, located at 3-5 rue Papin in the 3rd arrondissement.
In 1862 during Haussmann's modernization of Paris, the Théâtre de la Gaîté of the boulevard du Temple was relocated to the rue Papin across from the Square des Arts et Métiers. The new theatre, built in an Italian style to designs of the architects Jacques-Ignace Hittorff and Alphonse Cusin, opened on 3 September.

Olga Dondé was a Mexican artist involved in various fields but best known her still life pieces. She was a self-taught painter, who worked for two years until she decided to enter works in a show in 1968. From then she had about 100 showings of her work, including more than forty individual exhibitions in Mexico, the United States, South Americana and Europe. She also founded artistic organizations, an art gallery and a publishing house. Dondé’s work was recognized by admission in the Salón de la Plástica Mexicana, among other honors and her work continues to be shown and honored after her death.
Laura Elenes (1933–2005) was a Mexican painter, sculptor and print maker. whose work was recognized with membership in the Salón de la Plástica Mexicana and several tributes in Mexico and other countries after her death.
