Klaus Hufnagel (born 16 June 1955) is a former East German track and field athlete who competed in the triple jump. He was a bronze medallist at the IAAF World Cup in 1977. [1] [2] [3]

At national level, he was a five-time champion, taking four titles at the East German Athletics Championships (1976, 1977, 1979, 1980) and one title at the East German Indoor Athletics Championships (1979). [4] [5] He was a member of SC Magdeburg sports club. [6]

His highest honour was a silver medal in 1980. He was a seven-time national champion, taking three titles in cross country running, two in road running and two in track.

Sue Cook is an Australian former racewalking athlete. She is a former world record holder in the 10 kilometres race walk and the 20 kilometres race walk. She competed six times at the IAAF World Race Walking Cup, taking bronze in 1983, and was selected for Australia for the 1987 World Championships in Athletics.

Igor Lotaryov is a Russian former Soviet male middle-distance runner who competed mainly in the 1500 metres. He set his lifetime best of 3:34.49 minutes for the event in Brussels in 1985.

Július Ivan is a Slovak former track and field hurdler who competed in the 110 metres hurdles for Czechoslovakia. Born in Šurany, he was a member of the Dukla Banská Bystrica sports club and represented his country at the 1980 Moscow Olympics. He was a bronze medallist at the 1981 IAAF World Cup. He also represented his country at the European Athletics Championships twice and at the 1987 World Championships in Athletics. He was the B-final winner of the 1981 European Cup.

Vladimir Ponomaryov is a Russian former Soviet middle-distance runner. He represented his country at the 1976 Summer Olympics and was a seven-time Soviet national champion, four times outdoors.

Charlton Ehizuelen is a Nigerian former track and field athlete who competed in the long jump and triple jump. He set personal bests of 8.26 m and 16.82 m for the events, respectively. The latter mark from 1975 remains the Nigerian indoor record.

Marina Grigorievna Sidorova is a Russian former Soviet track and field sprinter. She was a seven-time Soviet champion, winning over distances from 100 metres to 400 metres.

Christina Liebetrau is a former East German track and field athlete who competed in the 800 metres. She set a personal best of 1:58.81 minutes in 1976. Her sole international successes came in the 1977 season when she was a silver medallist at the 1977 IAAF World Cup and the winner at the 1977 European Cup.

Svetlana Styrkina is a Belarusian former middle-distance runner for the Soviet Union. She represented her country at the 1976 Summer Olympics and was a three-time Soviet national champion.

Lyubov Nikitenko is a Kazakhstani former track and field hurdler for the Soviet Union. Born in Kostanay, she competed in the 100 metres hurdles at the 1976 Summer Olympics, where she was disqualified in the semi-finals.

Ari Paunonen is a Finnish male former middle- and long-distance runner who competed over distances from 800 metres up to 10,000 metres. His best international performances at a major event were bronze at the 1977 European Cup and fifth at the 1983 European Athletics Indoor Championships. He was also the 1500 m silver medallist at the Nordic Indoor Athletics Championships in 1986.

Elke Decker is a German female former track and field sprinter who competed in the 400 metres for West Germany. Born in Cologne, her greatest achievement was a gold medal at the 1980 European Athletics Indoor Championships. She also represented her country individually at the 1978 European Athletics Championships and 1982 European Athletics Indoor Championships, as well as in the 4 × 400 metres relay team at the 1979 IAAF World Cup.
