Kokkisota is a Finnish cooking program. It airs on MTV3. It is based on the British show Ready Steady Cook . The Finnish show premiered in 1999, hosted by Sikke Sumari. The show was revived in 2017, with Sumari returning as the host alongside a new cast of chefs. [1]

Format

Two chefs cook and the best wins. The revival features a 10-minute challenge before the main challenge.

10 minute fast challenge

The main chefs have to cook a dish using only the ingredients provided. The winner is decided by the host and receives an advantage in the next challenge.

Main challenge

The chefs prepare any food they want with a €20 budget. Then they have to cook delicious dishes from the food supply. The winner is decided by the audience.

Top Chef Junior is an American reality competition television series that serves as a spin-off of the popular Top Chef series. Top Chef Suomi is a Finnish cooking reality show on Sub based on the American television series Top Chef. Auditions for the series were held in autumn 2010 and 12 contestants were chosen. The programme is hosted by model and restaurant chef Pipsa Hurmerinta The head judge for the competition is Finland's most renowned chef Hans Välimäki. The second season of Muodin huipulle began airing on Finland's MTV3 on 22 February 2011 at 20.00. The show is hosted by model Nora Vilva and designer Janne Renvall is the contestants' mentor. Jaakko Selin, mentor in season one, is one of the regular judges.

Tanssii tähtien kanssa is a Finnish version of the British BBC television series Strictly Come Dancing. The show has run on MTV3 since 3 March 2006, on Sunday evenings. The twelfth season was aired in the autumn 2019.

Chopped Canada is a Canadian reality cooking television series based on the US series Chopped. The program pits four chefs against each other as they compete to win $10,000 and the title of Chopped Canada Champion. It first aired on January 2, 2014 and last aired on February 11, 2017. In May 2017, the show's producers announced that Food Network Canada had cancelled the show.
