Kokomma is a 2012 Nigerian drama film directed by Tom Robson. It stars Belinda Effah, Ini Ikpe, Ifeanyi Kalu and Ekere Nkanga. [1] It received 3 nominations at the 9th Africa Movie Academy Awards, with Effah winning the award for Most Promising Actor for her comic role in the film. [2] It was released on DVD in September 2012. [3]

It received a nomination for the category Achievement In Soundtrack at the 9th Africa Movie Academy Awards. The film tells a story of 5 childhood friends who converge at the home of one of them who just died, she leaves a series of letters that explains her struggles through life and eventually leading to their "self discovery".

The 2013 Nigeria Entertainment Awards was the 8th edition of the ceremony. It was held at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts in New York and hosted by Basketmouth.

The 2012 Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards was the maiden edition of the ceremony to reward excellence in African cinema. It was hosted by Jim Iyke.

I'll Take My Chances is a 2011 Nigerian dance romantic drama film, produced by Emem Isong and directed by Desmond Elliot. It stars Ini Edo and Bryan Okwara in lead roles, with Sam Loco Efe, Jide Kosoko, Ini Ikpe, Ashleigh Clark and Abiola Segun Williams in supporting roles. The film's synopsis says: "Tradition demands that a troubled young woman take the position of priestess of the land or else allow calamity to befall the village. She refuses to accept her fate and is further convinced not to heed custom's call by a handsome stranger".

The 2014 Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards is scheduled to hold at Stafford Center on October 25. The event will be hosted by comedian, Julius Agwu.

Heaven's Hell is a 2019 Nigerian psychological intdrama film, produced and directed by Katung Aduwak; it stars an ensemble cast which includes Nse Ikpe Etim, Fabian Adeoye Lojede, Bimbo Akintola, Chet Anekwe, Damilola Adegbite, OC Ukeje, Kalu Ikeagwu, Femi Jacobs, Bimbo Manuel and Gideon Okeke. It is majorly financed by BGL Asset Management Ltd and One O Eight Media, with production support of other partners such as Hashtag Media House and Aberystwyth University.

Joseph Kenneth Ssebaggala or "Joseph S KEN" is a Ugandan film director, screenwriter. In 2008 he started taking film training and workshops, like the Durban Talent Campus 2011. As a writer, producer and director he runs a film company called Zenken Films, under which he has produced two of his feature films: Master on Duty and That Small Piece. The film had its theatrical release on 30 April 2021 and received mixed reviews from critics.
