Krassimira Filipova (born 2 February 1949) is a former Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast. [1] She was a leading athlete in the second half of the 1960s and early 1970s.
In 1967 she was at the World Championships held in Copenhagen where she obtained a bronze medal in the free hands final and was 7th in the individual All-Around event. [2]
In 1971, at the World Championships in Havana, she won the silver medal with hoop, the bronze with rope, and was 4th place in the individual All-Around competition and in the ribbon final. [3]
In the World Championships in Rotterdam in 1973, she was again 4th in the All-Around competition and won the silver medal in the hoop final; she in addition to 5th place with ball and 6th with rope. [4]
Filipova was a national competitor for 11 years, and then became Neshka Robeva's assistant, and this experience marked an 18-year career as a national assistant coach, in the period from 1980 to 1998. The Bulgarian rhythmic gymnastics star graduated from UNSS , and later in 1972 and the coaching school at VIF (NSA). Six years later, she began to be famous as a Bulgarian judge, and is also the current Chairman of the Judges' Commission at the BFHG. [5]
Rut Castillo Galindo is a Mexican individual rhythmic gymnast. She represented Mexico at the 2020 Summer Olympics and became the first Mexican rhythmic gymnast to compete at an Olympic Games. She is the 2021 Pan American all-around champion. At the 2007 Pan American Games, she won the silver medal in hoop and the bronze medals in the all-around and clubs. She is an eight-time Central American and Caribbean Games champion. She has also competed at nine World Championships.
The 2016 Pan American Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships were held in Merida, Yucatán, Mexico, November 4–9, 2016. The competition was organized by the Mexican Gymnastics Federation, and approved by the International Gymnastics Federation.
Salma Solaun Campos is a Spanish rhythmic gymnast who competed at the 2019 Junior World Rhythmic Gymnastic championships, where she won a bronze medal. She also won a silver medal at the 2022 European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, in the 3 ribbons + 2 balls final.
Polina Berezina Ksenofontova is an individual rhythmic gymnast. Born in Russia, she represents Spain internationally. She has competed at seven Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships and won a bronze medal with the Spanish team in 2022. She is a five-time Spanish national all-around champion at the senior level. She competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics in women's rhythmic individual all-around and placed 15th, cutoff from the finals.
Anna Baranova is a rhythmic gymnastics coach, former Spanish national coach and current coach of the French national team. She has held the position of coach of the Spanish group in two stages: the first from 2004 to 2008, and the second from 2011 to 2020. In both she had the help as a coach of Sara Bayon. In this period the Spanish team, known as the Equipaso, has won silver at the Olympic Games in Rio 2016, became double world champion in 10 clubs, won world All-Around bronze in 2015 in Stuttgart and finished in 4th place at the 2012 London Olympics.

Alba Bautista Cañas is a Spanish rhythmic gymnast. She won a bronze medal at the 2022 World Championships in the team category. She is the 2023 Spanish senior national champion. She competed at the 2024 Paris Olympics in the rhythmic individual all-around and finished in 20th place in the qualification round.

María Jesús Alegre Etayo, also known as Chus Alegre, is a Spanish former rhythmic gymnast. She achieved, among other medals, the bronze in the general of the World Championship in Madrid in 1975, the first medal in an international competition for the Spanish national team and the only one in the individual All-Around of a World Championship to date. She won another three more medals in that World Cup and was also absolute champion of Spain in 1976 and 1977.
Ledia Juárez is a Mexican rhythmic gymnast. She's a multiple Pan American medalist.
Leticia Herrería is a former Spanish rhythmic gymnast. She won a bronze medal at Worlds in 1975.
