Krishna Kishore (born 1940) is an Indian origin Hindi writer based in Minnesota, US. He was born in Haryana. His main writings are poems and essays. He is an editor of several web and paper published literature journals since 2004. [1]
In 2005, he was awarded the Padmabhushan Dr. Moturi Satyanarayan Award. [2]
Kishore Kumar was an Indian playback singer, musician and actor. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest, most influential and dynamic singers in the history of modern Indian music. Kumar was one of the most popular singers in the Indian subcontinent, notable for his yodelling and ability to sing songs in different voices. He used to sing in different genres but some of his rare compositions, considered classics, were lost in time.
Rahul Dev Burman was an Indian music director and actor, who is considered to be one of the greatest and most successful music directors of the Hindi film music industry. Haré Rama Haré Krishna is a 1971 Indian musical drama film directed by Dev Anand starring himself, Mumtaz and Zeenat Aman. The film was a hit and a star-making vehicle for Zeenat Aman, who played a westernized hippie, and won the Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award, as well as the BFJA Award for Best Actress. The movie dealt with the decadence of the Hippie culture. It aimed to have an anti-drug message and also depicts some problems associated with Westernization such as divorce. Aditya 369 is a 1991 Indian Telugu-language science fiction film written and directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao. The film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna and Mohini with supporting roles played by Amrish Puri, Tinnu Anand, and Suthivelu. The music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja, and the dialogues were written by Jandhyala. Produced by S. Anitha Krishna under the Sridevi Movies banner and presented by S. P. Balasubrahmanyam, the film was a commercial success. It also received critical acclaim earning two state Nandi Awards.
Miss Mary is a 1957 Indian Hindi-language comedy film directed by L. V. Prasad. The movie is an AVM Production and directed by L. V. Prasad. A remake of Prasad's 1955 Telugu-Tamil bilingual film Missamma / Missiamma, the film stars Meena Kumari in the titular role, Kishore Kumar and Ganesh(Gemini Ganesan). The music was by Hemant Kumar with the lyrics and dialogue written by Rajendra Krishan. The songs were sung by Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Geeta Dutt and Mohammed Rafi.
Pandanti Kapuram is a 1972 Indian Telugu-language family drama film directed by Lakshmi Deepak. The film features an ensemble cast of Krishna, S. V. Ranga Rao, Vijaya Nirmala, Jamuna, B. Saroja Devi, Anjali Devi, Gummadi, Prabhakar Reddy. Released on July 21, 1972, Pandanti Kapuram was one of the biggest hits of the year. It is also the first film of Krishna to celebrate a silver jubilee run at the box-office.
Sachin Dev Burman was an Indian music director and singer. He was a member of the Tripura royal family, but his father was excluded from the throne. He started his career with Bengali films in 1937. He later began composing for Hindi movies and became one of the most successful and influential Indian film music composers. Burman composed the soundtracks for over 100 movies, including Bengali films and Hindi.
Avinash Vyas was an Indian music composer, lyricist and singer of Gujarati films who composed music for over 190 Gujarati films. He was a winner of Gujarat State Film award for the best lyricist and best music 25 times. He was honoured by the Government of India in 1970 with Padma Shri, the fourth highest Indian civilian award.
Man Mauji is a 1962 Indian Hindi-language film starring Kishore Kumar and Sadhana in lead roles and directed by Krishnan–Panju. It was Jayalalitha's first Hindi film, in which she played Lord Krishna in a 3-minutes dance sequence with Naaz, who played Radha in the same dance program. The film was a remake of Telugu film Donga Ramudu.

The phrase American-Born Confused Desi describes Indians born in America, who have difficulty in balancing their ethnic culture within the majority non-Indian American culture. The film is a remake of the Malayalam film of the same name starring Dulquer Salmaan and was released on 17 May 2019.
