<i>Jeevana Chaitra</i> 1992 Indian film

Jeevana Chaitra is a 1992 Indian Kannada language film directed by the duo Dorai–Bhagavan starring Rajkumar and Madhavi. It marked the re-entry of Rajkumar in films after a hiatus of three years, and was an instant hit. The film is based on the Kannada novel Vyapthi Prapthi written by Vishalakshi Dakshinamurthy. The film was initially titled Simhadriya Simha, a title which was later used for the 2002 film starring Vishnuvardhan. The film re-affirmed the hold Rajkumar had on Kannada audiences. It was highly successful at the box office and had a theatrical run of 52 weeks.

<i>Thyaga Bhoomi</i> 1939 Indian film

Thyaga Bhoomi is a 1939 Indian Tamil-language film directed and produced by K. Subramanyam. Starring K. J. Mahadevan and S.D.Subbalakshmi, the film was produced at the height of India's freedom movement and glorified Mahatma Gandhi and his ideals in no mean terms. The story for the film was based on a novel written by Kalki Krishnamurthy and was financed and distributed by S. S. Vasan before he created Gemini Studios. Thyagabhoomi is the only Indian film to be banned after release by the British government. The film's only existing print is now at an archive store in Pune. The story was serialized in Ananda Vikatan simultaneously when the film production was going on with stills from the film being published. This was the first time ever something like this had ever been attempted in the world and garnered great success both in India and across other Tamil populations across the world and British Empire.

Shivanand, Sadhu Kokila in supporting roles with real-life gangsters - Bekkina Kannu Rajendra, Tanveer, Korangu Krishna and Jedaralli Krishnappa - portraying the role of gangsters in a small but important portion of the movie.

Chalapathi Rao. It was produced by Tammareddy Krishna Murthy under the Ravindra Art Pictures banner. The film is loosely based on the 1963 English film Charade.

Dorai–Bhagavan were an Indian filmmaking duo consisting of directors B. Dorai Raj and S. K. Bhagavan, active mainly in Kannada cinema. The duo directed twenty seven films together, most of which starred Rajkumar and were highly successful at box-office. Fourteen of them were based on Kannada novels. Bhagavan was the principal of Adarsha Film Institute, Bangalore.

<i>Shree Krishna Gaarudi</i> 1958 Indian film

Shree Krishna Gaarudi is 1958 Indian Kannada language film written and directed by Hunsur Krishnamurthy based on the story by Bellave Narahari Shastri. It narrates the tale of Bheema and Arjuna's pride being crushed by Krishna, after the Kurukshetra War. The bickering and squabbling among the Pandavas for portfolios allegorizes the politics in the then newly formed Mysore state. The movie was remade in Telugu in the same year by well-known director Y. V. Rao starring Jaggayya also titled Shri Krishna Garudi.

Purandaradasa is a 1937 Indian Kannada-language film, directed by B. Chawan and produced by Nanjundappa. The film stars G. Krishnaswamy Iyengar, Tripuramba and J. T. Balakrishnarao. The film has musical score by Bellave Narahari Shastri.

Kshemamga Velli Labhamga Randi is a 2000 Telugu-language comedy film directed by Raja Vannem Reddy. The film features an ensemble cast of Srikanth, Rajendra Prasad, Brahmanandam, Ramya Krishna, Roja, Preethi and Kovai Sarala, with music composed by Vandemataram Srinivas. The film is produced by M. V. Lakshmi under the ML Art Movies banner and is presented by Editor Mohan. A remake of the Tamil film Viralukketha Veekkam (1999), it was released on 4 February 2000, and did well at the box office.

Family Pack is a 2022 Indian Kannada language comedy film directed by Arjun Kumar S., who previously directed Sankashta Kara Ganapathi. The film stars Likith Shetty, Amrutha Iyengar, Rangayana Raghu, and Achyuth Kumar. The film follows two families and a human-like ghost played by Rangayana Raghu. The film premiered on Amazon Prime Video.
