Kovelamudi Raghavendra Rao is an Indian filmmaker known primarily for his work in Telugu cinema, besides a few Hindi films. Over a career spanning more than four decades, he has directed over a hundred films across various genres, including romantic comedies, fantasies, melodramas, action thrillers, biographical dramas, and romances. He has received numerous accolades, including four Nandi Awards and five Filmfare Awards South.
The Filmfare Award for Best Director – Telugu is presented by the Filmfare magazine as part of its annual Filmfare Awards South for Telugu films. The awards were extended to "Best Director" in 1972.
Hyper is a 2016 Indian Telugu-language action-comedy drama film directed by Santosh Srinivas and produced by 14 Reels Entertainment. Adithya Varma is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by Gireeshaaya in his directorial debut and produced by Mukesh Mehta under E4 Entertainment. The film stars Dhruv Vikram in his acting debut and Banita Sandhu in her Tamil debut, while Priya Anand appears in a supporting role. A remake of the Telugu film Arjun Reddy (2017) directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, it follows Dhruv Vikram, as the titular character Adithya Varma, a wealthy and high-functioning alcoholic surgeon who has anger management problems. He pushes himself down a self-destructive path after the marriage of his girlfriend Meera; following which, the film focuses on his downfall and subsequent resurgence.
Kirrak Party is a 2018 Indian Telugu-language campus romantic comedy film directed by Sharan Koppisetty and produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara and Abhishek Agarwal, under AK Entertainments and Abhishek Agarwal Arts. The film is the remake of 2016 Kannada film Kirik Party which was directed by Rishab Shetty. The film features Nikhil Siddharth in the lead role along with Simran Pareenja, making her debut and Samyuktha Hegde reprising her role from the Kannada version.
NTR: Kathanayakudu is a 2019 Indian Telugu-language biographical drama film based on the real life and acting career of N. T. Rama Rao (NTR). It was directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and produced by Nandamuri Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati, Vishnu Vardhan Induri under NBK Films, Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram, Vibri Media banners. It is the first installation of a two-part film. The film stars an ensemble cast with Nandamuri Balakrishna, as his father N. T. Rama Rao, Vidya Balan in lead roles. Music is composed by M. M. Keeravani. The film has a sequel, NTR: Mahanayakudu, that showcases the political journey of Rama Rao.
Krishnakoli is a 2018 Bengali language television Soap opera that premiered on 5 April 2018 and airs on Bengali entertainment channel Zee Bangla. It is produced by Susanta Das of Tent Cinema and stars Tiyasha Lepcha and Neel Bhattacharya in the lead roles. After a journey of 3 and a half years, the show went off-air on 9 November 2022 on a happy note to make way for Pilu.

It is a remake of Tamil television series of the same name on Sun TV. The serial was stopped abruptly due to the COVID-19 lockdown. The serial initially starred Sharanya Turadi Sundaraj, but she was later replaced by Princy B Krishnan, Munna as main protagonists and Priyanka in pivotal role. Sri Lakshmi, Jackie, Anil, and Sailatha play other supporting roles. The serial was stopped abruptly due to COVID-19 lockdown.
Sevanthi (transl. Daisy) is a 2019 Indian Kannada-language soap opera and romance drama which premiered on Udaya TV from 25 February 2019 starring Dhanya Deepika and Shishir Shastry in lead roles. It is the remake of the Tamil TV series Roja.
SIIMA Award for Best Director – Telugu is presented by Vibri media group as part of its annual South Indian International Movie Awards, for best film direction done by a director in Telugu films. The award was first given in 2012 for films released in 2011. Trivikram Srinivas is the most nominated with 5 nominations while S. S. Rajamouli is the most awarded director with three wins.
Raktha Sambandham is an Indian Telugu-language television series on Zee Telugu and also in digital platform ZEE5, before TV telecast. It stars Meghana Lokesh and Siddharth Varma. The series premiered on 9 April 2018 with Gundamma Katha series. It has off-aired on 10 May 2021 with a mega episode.
