The paper was established in 1856. [1] [2] It is published daily except for holidays. [3] It has a liberal political stance. [1] [3]

The owner of Kristianstadsbladet was Bonnier Group until 2011 when it was acquired by Gota Media together with Trelleborgs Allehanda and Ystads Allehanda. [4] The paper was published by Sydsvenska Dagbladet AB under Bonnier Group. [5] [6] It was previously published in broadsheet format, but later its format was converted into tabloid format. [7]

In 2011 Kristianstadsbladet was the recipient of Society for News Design Award of Excellence. [8]

<i>Wallander</i> (British TV series) British television series

Wallander was originally a Swedish series, from which a British television series was then made, adapted from the Swedish novelist Henning Mankell's Kurt Wallander novels and starring Kenneth Branagh as the eponymous police inspector. It was the first time the Wallander novels have been adapted into an English-language production. Yellow Bird, a production company formed by Mankell, began negotiations with British companies to produce the adaptations in 2006. In 2007, Branagh met Mankell to discuss playing the role. Contracts were signed and work began on the films, adapted from the novels Sidetracked, Firewall and One Step Behind, in January 2008. Emmy-award-winning director Philip Martin was hired as lead director. Martin worked with cinematographer Anthony Dod Mantle to establish a visual style for the series.

Norrköpings Tidningar, also known as NT, is a Swedish language daily newspaper with its main distribution in northern and eastern Östergötland, Sweden.

The Finance Business Daily is the only daily Slovenian business and financial newspaper. The idea to publish it had already been proposed by Iztok Jurančič before 1991, when Slovenia declared its independence. However, it was realized only in 1992. At first, the newspaper was published by the company Gospodarski Vestnik. Today, it is published by the Časnik Finance company, which is owned by the Swedish Bonnier Group and also publishes several other publications; for example, the magazines Manager and Moje finance, the healthcare newspaper Medicina danes, and the web portals Finance and Mojevro. As of 2008, the Finance Business Daily accounted for three quarter of the Časnik Finance company income. Before becoming a daily newspaper in 2002, Finance was issued twice weekly.
