Kristin Jacobi

Kristin Mary Jacobi (born 16 October 1931) is a former swimmer from New Zealand.

At the 1950 British Empire Games she won the silver medal as part of the women's 440 yard freestyle relay. Her teammates in the relay were Norma Bridson, Winifred Griffin and Joan Hastings. [1]

Mary Dorothea "Dorrie" Parker was a New Zealand sprinter. At the 1950 British Empire Games she won a silver medal in the 440 yards relay, alongside Shirley Hardman and Lesley Rowe. She also ran in the 100 yard, 220 yard, and 660 yard relay, placing fourth in each event. Clark said she was overlooked for the 1954 British Empire Games at Vancouver, and that the games results indicate she could have been a finalist.

Winifred Griffin New Zealand swimmer

Winifred Clare "Winkie" Ashby was a New Zealand freestyle swimmer. At the 1950 British Empire Games she won the silver medal as part of the 4 x 110 yards freestyle relay. She was also a member of the New Zealand 3 x 100 yards medley relay team that was disqualified. Individually she placed fourth in the 440 yards freestyle and sixth in the 110 yards freestyle. She also competed in the 440 and 110 yards freestyle at the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games.

New Zealand at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics

New Zealand competed at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics in Lausanne, Switzerland, from 9 to 22 January 2020. They were represented by a team of 20 athletes, who took part in nine sports. The chef de mission was Jesse Teat. The flagbearer at the opening ceremony was biathlon athlete and cross-country skier Campbell Wright, and freestyle skier Luca Harrington was the flagbearer at the closing ceremony.
