Krzycko Małe [ˈkʂɨt͡skɔ ˈmawɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Święciechowa, within Leszno County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland.^[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north-west of Święciechowa, 10 km (6 mi) north-west of Leszno, and 65 km (40 mi) south-west of the regional capital Poznań.

Leszno County is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Greater Poland Voivodeship, west-central Poland. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat is the city of Leszno, although the city is not part of the county. The only towns in Leszno County are Rydzyna, which lies 9 km (6 mi) south-east of Leszno, and Osieczna, 10 km (6 mi) north-east of Leszno.

Famous writer and poet of Polish renaissance, Primate of Poland Andreas Cricius was born there in 1482.

Andrzej Krzycki herbu Kotwicz was a Renaissance Polish writer and archbishop. Krzycki wrote in Latin prose, but wrote poetry in Polish. He is often considered one of Poland's greatest humanist writers.
