Krzysztof Bogdan Garwatowski, (born 2 September 1967) is a Polish LGBT activist, journalist and publisher of porn magazines.

LGBT activism

Garwatowski was born in Włocławek, Poland. Since 1984 he was active at non-Catholic Polish Scouting and Guiding Association. As student at Warsaw University of Technology, he co-founded Warsaw Gay Movement. [1] After he graduated university, he was teacher of mathematics and physics in Warsaw from 1989 to 1997. He was active in LGBT rights in "Stowarzyszenie Grup Lambda" (en: Association of Lambda Groups) in Warsaw. In years 1998–2004, he was a chapter secretary of Polish LGBT price "Tęczowy Laur" (en: Rainbow Laurels), which was granted to VIPs in Poland for their supporting of tolerance to LGBT minorities in this country.

Porn publishing

In 1990, he becomes a leading porn publisher in Poland. He was co-founder of publishing houses: Pink Press and Pink Service, specialized for gay/heterosexual porn magazines and movies on DVD. Between 1990 and 2004, Pink Press published 60% of porn magazines and 80% of porn movies in Poland. [2] Garwatowski was:

Lambda Warsaw Association is the oldest operating Polish LGBT organisation. It was founded in October 1997 by activists of Rainbow Centre, which existed from 1995 to 1997. The tenth series of Warsaw Shore, a Polish television programme based in Warsaw, Poland was filmed in July 2018, and began airing on 21 October 2018. The series was filmed in Polish seaside town Łeba rather than Warsaw, making this the second series to be filmed here following the fourth series in 2015. Ahead of the series it was announced that former cast member Klaudia Stec would be making a return to the show. It was also confirmed that four new cast members had joined the series, including Filip Ćwiek who had previously appeared on second series of Ex on the Beach Poland as main cast member, Julia Kruzer, Patryk Spiker and Klaudia "Czaja" Czajkowska. This is the first series not to include original cast member Wojtek Gola after he quit the show for personal reasons. The series also featured the brief return of nine former cast members Wiktoria Sypucińska, Jakub Henke, Alan Kwieciński, Ewelina "Młoda" Bańkowska, Aleksandra Smoleń, Wojtek Gola, Bartek Barański, Kamila Widz and Piotr Kluk. Paweł "Trybson" Trybała also returned to the show as the boss. On 13 January 2019 it was announced that Marcin "Brzydal" Maruszak had quit the show and this is his last season.

Bartosz (Bart)Staszewski is a Polish filmmaker and LGBT activist. He is the creator of the documentary Article Eighteen, co-founder of the Equality March in Lublin association and the Miłość Nie Wyklucza foundation, which promotes same-sex marriage in Poland. For his activism, Staszewski is a target of death threats and intimidation.

Tadeusz Olszewski was a Polish poet, literary critic, journalist.

Lambda Groups Association was a first officially registered LGBT movement organization in Poland, that operated from 1990 to 1997. It was established by members of three unofficially functioning organizations: FILO Lambda-Gdańsk, WHM Lambda-Warsaw and ETAP Lambda-Wrocław, with notable members being: Sławomir Starosta, Waldemar Zboralski, Ryszard Ziobro, and Ryszard Kisiel. It was the second organization attempting to legalize LGBT movement organizations in Poland, with Warsaw Gay Movement, disestablished in 1987, being the first.
