Kuala Krai Bridge or Sultan Ismail Suspension Bridge is a historical bridge built by the British in the 1920s. It is located on Federal Route 8 near Kuala Krai, Kelantan, Malaysia. [1]

Sultan Ismail Petra ibni Almarhum Sultan Yahya Petra was the 28th Sultan of Kelantan who reigned from 30 March 1979 to 13 September 2010. He succeeded on the death of his father, Sultan Yahya Petra. He died at the Royal Ward Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital in Kota Bharu on 28 September 2019, aged 69, after 10 years of suffering from a massive stroke and was buried at the Kelantan Royal Mausoleum. He was succeeded by his eldest son, Sultan Muhammad V who ascended the throne on 13 September 2010.

Sultan Muhammad V has reigned as the 29th Sultan of Kelantan since September 2010 and served as the 15th Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia from December 2016 until his abdication in January 2019. He was proclaimed Sultan of Kelantan on 13 September 2010, succeeding his father, Sultan Ismail Petra, who was deemed incapacitated by illness. Sultan Muhammad V was proclaimed Yang di-Pertuan Agong on 13 December 2016. He became the first Yang di-Pertuan Agong to abdicate from the federal throne, effective 6 January 2019.

The Guillemard Bridge is a single track railway truss bridge located in Kusial, in the state of Kelantan, Malaysia. It is two of the oldest railway bridges in the country after Victoria Bridge in Perak. The bridge was constructed between May 1920 and July 1924 by The Metro Carriage Wagon & Finance Co of Wednesbury, England as a crossing over the Kelantan River. The bridge was officially opened on 1925 by Almarhum Sultan Muhammad IV of Kelantan and named after the British Governor for the Straits Settlements, Sir Laurence Guillemard.

Jalan Sultan Ismail Petra, Federal Route 259, is a federal road in Kelantan, Malaysia. The roads connected Batang Merbau in the west to Tanah Merah in the east. It was named after ninth Sultan of Kelantan, Sultan Ismail Petra, who reigned from 1979 until 2010.
