Poquonnock Bridge is a village and census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Groton in New London County, Connecticut, United States. The population was 1,727 at the 2010 census.

Courchevel is a French Alps ski resort. It is a part of Les Trois Vallées, the largest linked ski areas in the world. Courchevel also refers to the towns of Courchevel 1300, Courchevel 1550, Courchevel 1650 (Moriond), and Courchevel 1850, which are named for their altitudes in metres. The resort centre of Courchevel is at 1,747 metres. The somewhat misleading name Courchevel 1850 was chosen for marketing reasons to compete with arch rival Val d'Isère. It is the Jardin Alpin area of Courchevel 1850 which is actually located at 1,850 metres.
Stoneham Mountain Resort is a ski resort, located north of Quebec City, Quebec, Canada, in the municipality of Stoneham-et-Tewkesbury. It has a peak elevation of 593 metres above sea level and a vertical drop of 345 metres. There are 41 trails covering 333 hectares over four mountains. Nineteen trails are available for night skiing, consisting in the largest network of night skiing in Canada. The resort is owned by Resorts of the Canadian Rockies. In 2017, the Poma double ski lift and Doppelmayr T-Bar were removed. A new ski lift was built to replace them, a Doppelmayr 4-CLF fixed-grip lift with loading conveyor. This is 4,700 feet long with a ride time of 8.5 minutes. It has a maximum capacity of 1900 persons/hour.

Montage Mountain is a ski area in Pennsylvania, located 8 miles (13 km) from downtown Scranton, Pennsylvania. It is located about 125 miles (201 km) northwest of Philadelphia and New York City. There are 26 trails, two terrain parks, and one of Pennsylvania's longest snow tubing areas. The mountain has a summit elevation of 1,960 feet (600 m) and a vertical drop of 1,000 feet (300 m).

Mavrovo is a village and tourist resort in the mountainous region of western Macedonia. It is located in the Mavrovo and Rostuša municipality. Mavrovo is a destination for tourists throughout the year because of its skiing centre, national park and lake. There are weekend houses, inns and hotels offering accommodation for tourists all year round. The St Nicholas Church in Mavrovo was built in 1850. It was submerged in the local lake in 1953, but due to droughts in the 21st century it has largely appeared out of the lake.

The Jack Frost Ski Resort which opened in 1972, is located in Kidder Township, Carbon County, near White Haven, Pennsylvania. It is part of the Pocono region. Operated by Peak Resorts, it offers 20 trails and a terrain park for skiing and snowboarding. Unfortunately, this article seems to confuse Jack Frost and Big Boulder ski areas. Although under common ownership, they are distinct mountains 5 +\- miles apart.
Alpine Mountain Ski & Ride Center is a ski area in The Poconos of Pennsylvania located south-east of Scranton, Pennsylvania. It has 21 trails including 3 greens, 12 blues and 6 diamonds. It also has a terrain park located on the east side of the mountain at the bottom of the Swivel trail. The mountain was Voted On the Snow's 2013 Best Family Ski Area in the Mid-Atlantic/Southeast Region.

Boston Mills/Brandywine Ski Resorts are a pair of sister ski resorts, owned by Peak Resorts, in Northeastern Ohio. The two locations were developed independently in the 1960s. In 1990, Brandywine was purchased by the owners of Boston Mills, forming the dual-resort complex known today. In 2002 Peak Resorts purchased the resorts and has owned and operated them ever since. Resort operations are housed at Boston Mills. Boston Mills is the primary resort, attracting more advanced skiers with steeper, more challenging hills, two mogul fields, a race hill, and more adult traffic and live entertainment. Boston Mills features the steepest slope in the state of Ohio, the mogul studded "Tiger". Boston Mills even has some tree runs that appear with the falling of natural snow including the "Ol 76er", "The Trench" and "Tiger's Fang". Professional freestyle and freeskier, Glen Plake has skied "Tiger" at Boston Mills and called it a "great run for a mogul course". Boston Mills is also home to "Carnival", a giant end of season party that has featured a slosh pit, mogul competitions, big air competitions, sickest trick competitions, fire hose races, bikini races, sled races, beer keg races, costume contests and fireworks displays. A viral video once showed Boston Mills ending the season by sending a jetski down the main mogul run. In 2018, Red Gerard, who began his snowboarding career at Brandywine while living in Rocky River, won the Gold Medal in Snowboarding Slopestyle.
The Mekhrenga is a river in Plesetsky and Kholmogorsky Districts and in the town of Mirny of Arkhangelsk Oblast in Russia. It is a left tributary of the Yemtsa River. It is 231 kilometres (144 mi) long, and the area of its basin 5,080 square kilometres (1,960 sq mi). The principal tributaries of the Mekhrenga are the Shorda (left), the Myagdoma (right), and the Puksa (left).
