Bardiani–CSF–Faizanè is a professional continental cycling team registered in Italy that participates in UCI Continental Circuits races and when selected as a wildcard to UCI ProTour events. The team is managed by Bruno Reverberi with assistance from directeurs sportifs Fabiano Fontanelli and Roberto Reverberi. Reverberi has managed the team since 1982, when it started as Termolan. Navigare was an on-and-off title-sponsor since 1990, when the team was called Italbonifica-Navigare. The current main sponsor, Bardiani Valvole, became associated with the team in 2013, prior to which CSF Group (2008–12) and Ceramica Panaria (2000–2007) were main sponsors.
NTT Pro Cycling is a UCI WorldTeam cycling team based in South Africa. Until 2016 it was known as MTN–Qhubeka. The team's name reflects that whilst it is sponsored by Dimension Data Holdings, it is linked to fundraising for Qhubeka, a charity programme in South Africa. The team aim to fund 5000 bicycles every year for the charity.

The 2020 Tour de France is scheduled to be the 107th edition of the Tour de France, one of cycling's three grand tours. The start of the 2020 Tour is planned to be in Nice. This would be the second occasion that the city has held the Grand Départ, the first being for the 1981 Tour de France. The global health situation had already led to the withdrawal of several teams before and during the race.
