Kunwara Baap is a 1974 Hindi film produced by Amarlal Chabria and directed by and starring Mehmood. The film also stars Bharathi, and Vinod Mehra. Based on Charlie Chaplin's The Kid (1921), it is a film with a serious message about polio vaccination. However, Mehmood did some comedy scenes in the film to earn a Filmfare nomination as Best Comic, the only nomination for the film. Rajesh Roshan makes his debut as a film composer. The hijra song "Saj Rahi Gali" sung by Mohammed Rafi topped the annual Binaca Geet Mala, which was the only countdown show at the time. This film was Tamil actress Manorama's only film in Hindi, however, her lines consisted of some Tamil.

Kunwara (Bachelor) is a 2000 Indian Hindi comedy film directed by David Dhawan, with cinematography by Chota K. Naidu, and was released on July 14, 2000. This film opened with negative reviews from critics, leading to an unsuccessful run at the box office. The film stars Govinda, Urmila Matondkar, Nagma, Om Puri, Kader Khan and Johnny Lever in lead roles. The film is a remake of the Telugu film Bavagaru Bagunnara.

Kunwara Baap is a 1942 Hindi comedy film directed by Kishore Sahu. The film was the debut directorial venture for Sahu, who directed it for the debutant producer N. R. Acharya. Acharya had just started his production company Acharya Arts Productions. The story was written by Kishore Sahu who went on to write and direct films like Kali Ghata, Mayurpankh and others. The music direction was by Ramchandra Pal. The film had Kishore Sahu starring as the bachelor father with co-stars Protima Dasgupta, Anjali Devi, Nana Palsikar, Amritlal Nagar and Moni Chatterjee.

<i>Shararat</i> (1944 film) 1944 Indian film

Shararat (Mischief) is a 1944 Hindi comedy film directed by Kishore Sahu. Produced by Hindustan Chitra Productions, it had music by S. N. Tripathi and Khan Mastana. Following the commercial success of his earlier comedy film Kunwara Baap (1942), Sahu made another comedy with Shararat, which he not only directed and wrote the story for, but also cast himself in the main role. The actors co-starring with him were Maya Banerji, Protima Dasgupta, Ramesh Gupta, Sushil Sahu and Moni Chatterjee.

Jeeja Ghosh is an Indian disability rights activist. She was born with cerebral palsy, a condition caused by lack of oxygen to the brain either during pregnancy or at the time of delivery.

Macky Ali was an Indian actor. He was the third son of India's ace comedian Mehmood Ali and the younger brother of singer Lucky Ali.

I Am Jeeja is an Indian documentary film directed by filmmaker Swati Chakraborty that recounts the story of Jeeja Ghosh, an Indian disability rights activist who has cerebral palsy. Through this film, Swati has attempted to show the lives and battles of individuals living with the disability. The film won numerous awards including the National Film Award and Top Award.
