Sai Kung District is one of the 18 districts of Hong Kong. The district comprises the southern half of the Sai Kung Peninsula, the Clear Water Bay Peninsula in the New Territories and a strip of land to the east of Kowloon. Areas in the district include Sai Kung Town, Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark, Tseung Kwan O and over 70 islands of different sizes. The administrative centre had been located in Sai Kung Town until the Sai Kung District Office was relocated to Tseung Kwan O recently. The district's population is concentrated in Tseung Kwan O, as of 2011. In 2011, the district was the third youngest district, with a median age of 39.3. Known as the "back garden of Hong Kong", Sai Kung has been able to retain its natural scenery. Many traditional customs and cultures are still retained in the rural villages.
Park Central is a private housing estate and shopping mall in Tseung Kwan O, New Territories, Hong Kong, located near MTR Tseung Kwan O station. It consists of 12 residential blocks in two phases with a total of 4,152 units, and a 350,000-square-foot (33,000 m2) shopping mall, the largest one in Tseung Kwan O. It was jointly developed in 2002, 2003 and 2005 by the consortium of property developers, including Sun Hung Kai Properties, Henderson Land Development, Chinachem Group, MTR Corporation and Nan Fung Group.
Serenity Place is a full market value development in 88 Po Hong Road, Tseung Kwan O, New Territories, Hong Kong, developed by Hong Kong Housing Society. It is the Society's last Sandwich Class Housing Scheme project that was converted to private development. It was developed in 2000 and was opened to the public in 2003.
Verbena Heights is a Flat-for-Sale Scheme public housing estate in Po Lam, Tseung Kwan O, New Territories, Hong Kong located on reclaimed land near MTR Po Lam station. It now consists of seven residential buildings with a total of 1894 saleable units and 971 rental units, built between 1996 and 1997 by Hong Kong Housing Society. It is an attempt to design environmentally-responsible housing. It received a Silver Medal at the 1998 Hong Kong Institute of Architects Annual Awards.

It is the first public housing estate in Tseung Kwan O and has a total of seven residential blocks with 5,272 units. Some of the flats were sold to tenants through Tenants Purchase Scheme Phase 6A in 2004.
King Lam Estate is a mixed TPS and public housing estate in Tseung Kwan O, New Territories, Hong Kong near MTR Po Lam station. Tsui Lam Estate is a mixed TPS and public housing estate located to the west of Po Lam in Tseung Kwan O, New Territories, Hong Kong. It is the second public housing estate in Tseung Kwan O and is the only public housing estate in Tseung Kwan O not built on reclaimed land. It has a total of eight residential blocks completed in 1988. Some of the flats were sold to tenants through Tenants Purchase Scheme Phase 6B in 2005.
