Kynan Maley (born 13 October 1981 in Fremantle) is an Australian slalom canoeist. At the 2012 Summer Olympics he competed in the C-1 event [1] as well as the C-2 event. In C-1 Maley reached the final where he finished in 6th place. He placed in 10th place in C-2 with Robin Jeffery after being eliminated in the semifinal.
Originally from Fremantle, Western Australia, but now based at Penrith, New South Wales, [2] Maley has attempted to compete at the Olympics since 2000, but Australia's only C-1 slalom canoe position was taken at each games by Robin Bell, who won the bronze medal at the Beijing Olympics. [3]
Michal Martikán is a Slovak slalom canoeist who has been competing at the international level since 1994. In 1996 he became the first athlete to win an Olympic gold medal for Slovakia since the country gained independence in 1993. In total he won 5 Olympic medals, which is the most among all slalom paddlers. He has also won the World Championship title in the C1 individual category four times.

David Florence is a retired British slalom canoeist who competed at the international level from 1999 to 2021. He is the 2013 and 2015 world champion in individual single canoe (C1) and 2013 champion in double canoe (C2), the latter with Richard Hounslow. Florence was the first canoeist since Charles Dussuet, sixty years earlier, to achieve the C1, C2 double at the same World Championships.
Takuya Haneda is a Japanese male slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2002. He won a bronze medal in the C1 event at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, becoming the first Asian canoeist to win an Olympic medal.
Cameron "Cam" Smedley is a Canadian slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2006. Smedley competes as a member of the Canadian National Whitewater Slalom Team. He competes in the C1 class. Until 2015 he also competed in C2 with his partner Ben Hayward.
Timothy Mark Baillie MBE is a Scottish slalom canoeist who represented Britain. From Westhill in Aberdeenshire, he started competing at the international level in 1996, initially in the K1 category, but switching to C2 in 2003. He retired from the sport in 2013. He is the Olympic Champion in the C2 event from the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
Etienne Stott MBE is an English slalom canoeist who started competing at the international level in 2002, initially in the K1 category, but switching to C2 in 2005. He retired from the sport in 2016. He is the Olympic Champion in the C2 event from the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
Luka Božič is a Slovenian slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2006.
Casey Eichfeld is an American slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2004. He won gold medals in single and double canoe at the 2015 Pan American Games. He competed in the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympics with the best result of seven place in the C1 event in 2016. At the world championships his best achievement is fourth place in C1 in 2015.

Jessica Esther "Jess" Fox is a French-born Australian Program and Policy Officer and world and Olympic champion slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2008.
The men's canoe slalom C-2 competition at the 2012 Olympic Games in London took place between 30 July and 2 August at the Lee Valley White Water Centre. Twenty-eight canoeists from 12 countries competed.

Mitchell Gourley is an Australian Paralympic alpine skier who competed for Australia in the downhill, super-G, giant slalom, slalom and super combined events at four Winter Paralympics - 2010 to 2022. He was Australian team co-captain with Joany Badenhorst at the 2018 Winter Paralympics. At the 2022 Winter Paralympics, he and Melissa Perrine carried the Australian flag in the opening ceremony. At the 2017 IPC Alpine Skiing World Championships in Tarvisio, Italy he won the gold medal in the Men's Super Combined Standing.
The women's C-1 slalom canoeing event at the 2020 Summer Olympics took place on 28 and 29 July 2021 at the Kasai Canoe Slalom Course. 22 canoeists from 22 nations competed. The event was won by Jessica Fox from Australia, who already had three medals in K-1 slalom from the 2012, 2016, and 2020 Olympics. Briton Mallory Franklin won silver, and German Andrea Herzog bronze. For both of them it was the first Olympic medal.
