Kyokuhairwa Kyaka Viccy (d. 2008), also known as Vicky Kyaka Kyokuhairwa, was a Ugandan politician in the eighth Parliament of Uganda representing Isingiro District. She was the first councillor for Bukanga in the early 90s. [1]

Political life

Kyokuhairwa won the 2006 election in Isingiro district woman parliamentary seat with 94,258 votes. [2] Her closest rival Kyokuhairwe Stella Masiko Kafureka polled 10,739, while Biriwuija Edith Mwebaze had 7,571 votes. [2]

In 2008, Vicky died with a couple and two other people after their car collided with a Fuso truck at Rubaale on the Kabale-Mbarara highway. [3] The other deceased were identified as Mathias Mulumba and his wife, Winnie. [3] Kyokuhairwa was in the company of her mother-in-law and was admitted at Nkozi Hospital. [2]

The Parliament also paid tribute to Viccy. [1] which was moved by the Government Chief Whip, Kabakumba Matsiko, who said the late had distinguished herself as hardworking, vibrant and loyal to the ruling National Resistance Movement party. [1] Vicky was also known by other MPs for being a developmental and a great mobilizer who believed in family unity and harmony, a great and empowered woman, a great legislator who had been a model for many women parliamentarians in the multiparty system and a prayerful woman who was attached to her family and constituency. [1]

While at the Parliament, she served as a member on the Parliamentary Committees of Defence and Internal Affairs, Natural Resources, and the Public Accounts Committee. [2]

Pauline Kemirembe Kyakaalso known as Pauline Kyaka, is a Ugandan politician and teacher. She is the district woman representative of Lyantonde District in the 10th Parliament of Uganda. The incumbent Woman member of parliament, Grace Namara Lutemba lost to Pauline Kyaka, her NRM rival.

Justine Khainza also referred to as Khainza Justine is a Ugandan politician and social worker. She is the district woman representative of Bududa District in the 9th and 10th Parliament of Uganda. She is a member of the National Resistance Movement political party. In the 2021 presidential and parliamentary elections, she lost the vote to Agnes Nandutu who is the current district woman representative of Bududa District in the 11th Parliament of Uganda.

Flavia Rwabuhoro Kabahenda is a Ugandan Politician, Woman member of Parliament representing Kyegegwa district in the 11th Parliament of Uganda representing the National Resistance Movement. She is also Chairperson Parliament committee of gender labor and social development. She also served in the 10th Parliament of Uganda as the woman Member of Parliament representing Kyengewa District. Flavia was the founding chairperson and coordinator of the Uganda Parliamentary Forum on Social Protection established in 2014.Flavia Rwabuhoro Kabahenda was also a key advocate for the Senior Citizens’ Grant in Uganda.

Mugisha Muhanga Margaret also known as Muhanga Margaret is a female Ugandan politician.
