LL Revisited is the fourth extended play (EP) by American band the Hellp. It was released on April 30, 2025, through Atlantic Records under the imprint Anemoia Records. It was preceded by the singles "Hazel" and "Hot Fun". It serves as a companion project to their 2024 album LL , which was released six months prior.
In October 2024, the Hellp released their second studio album and major-label debut, LL , which received positive critical reception. [1] On April 17, 2025, they released the single "Hazel", which was described by Shaad D'Souza of Paper as "wistful and raging at the same time". D'Souza also compared the song to the music on the album Reality Check by French synth-pop band The Teenagers. [2] One week later, on April 24, the Hellp released the single "Hot Fun", and announced LL Revisited to be released the following week on April 30. [3]
In a positive review, Grace Holtzclaw of Ones to Watch described the EP as "nostalgic and gripping", with "frantic beats, lush vocals, and post-apocalyptic influences of techno". She described "Hot Fun" as a "headbanger" with "intensely visceral" lyrics, and overall found the song to be "like reliving a favorite memory in your head". Holtzclaw highlighted "a scattering barrage of vocal chops" on the following track, "IG Live", and likened "Techno" to "stumbling and slurring your way through the dancefloor, swaying between bliss and losing yourself amidst the chaos of it all". She also described "Hazel" as "frenetic, awe-inducing, and euphoric". Overall, Holtzclaw found that on LL Revisited, the Hellp "draws inspiration from the sleaze collective while redefining the canon with choices that could only be theirs". [4]
