LYNX is a planned and under-construction bus rapid transit (BRT) system in Denver, Colorado, US Planned to open in 2027, the first line will run along Colfax Avenue from Union Station in Downtown Denver to the Colfax station on the R light rail line in Aurora, featuring dedicated lanes for most of its route. [1] By 2030, three lines are planned to have been built, on Colfax Avenue, Federal Boulevard, and Colorado Boulevard. [2] Buses will be run by the Denver metro area's main public transit provider, RTD, and are planned and built by the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), the Denver Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI), and the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) [2] [1] [3]
