The La Leyenda del Dembow Tour was the first world tour by Dominican dembow superstar El Alfa in support of his studio albums El Androide (2020) and Sabiduria (2022). [1] [2] The tour consisted on three legs. The first leg, was his the first arena tour on the United States, the second on a series of music festivals on Europe and concluded in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. [3] [4] The tour included a sellout concert in New York, Madison Square Garden which receive positive reviews by critics becoming the first Dominican urban act to do so. On July 16, El Alfa performed at Estadio Olimpico in Santo Domingo, in front of 50,000 fans, becoming just the seventh Dominican act to sold out the venue and the first urban act to do so. [5] [6]

Estadio Quisqueya Juan Marichal is a baseball stadium in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. It is the only stadium in the Caribbean region to host two different baseball teams, Tigres del Licey and Leones del Escogido. Its field dimensions are 335 feet (102 m) at the foul poles, 383 feet (117 m) at the power alleys, and 411 feet (125 m) at center field. The seating capacity is 14,469. The Dominican League of Baseball Authority is in charge of its management.
The Palacio de los Deportes Virgilio Travieso Soto is an 8,337-seat multi-purpose arena in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, built in 1974 for the XII Central American and Caribbean Games. It currently hosts local sporting events and concerts and held the basketball games during the 2003 Pan American Games. It is known as "La Media Naranja" for its characteristic orange roof. The arena is also used in the Miss Dominican Republic Pageant. It also hosted games from the 2010 World Youth Women's Handball Championship.
Félix Sánchez Olympic Stadium is open-air multi-purpose stadium in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Opened in 1974 for the XII Central American & Caribbean Games and renovated 2003 Pan American Games is the largest stadium in the Dominican Republic used mostly for football and track and field and as a music venue. The stadium has a sporting events' capacity of 27,000 people, though it has seen crowds of 35,000. For concerts, its stated capacity is 50,000 people.
The GranArena del Cibao Dr. Oscar Gobaira, formerly known as the Palacio de los Deportes, is a multi-purpose arena in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, built in 1978. The arena has a capacity of 8,768 seats, consisting of 7,000 regular seats, 668 comfortable armchairs and 1,100 luxury seats that are fully reclinable. The arena has a modern acoustic system, which has 16 speakers and 10 monitors. The arena was remodeled for the Dominican Republic National Basketball Team in accordance with the requirements of FIBA. Emanuel Herrera Batista, known by his stage name El Alfa or El Alfa El Jefe, is a Dominican rapper known as the King of Dembow. Batista was born in Bajos de Haina, Santo Domingo. He is known for his initial afro hairstyle which led him to popularity in the early 2010s through songs like "Tarzan", "Coche Bomba" and "Muevete Jevi". He went on to form good relationships with many artists from Puerto Rico, such as Nicky Jam, Farruko, and Myke Towers amongst others. This resulted in one of the biggest collaborations in dembow history, led by El Alfa, when he released "Suave (Remix)" in December 2018 alongside Chencho Corleone, Bryant Myers, Miky Woodz, Jon Z and Noriel.
The Big Boss World Tour was a concert tour by reggaeton singer Daddy Yankee to promote his album El Cartel: The Big Boss. This was his second arena tour in the United States and his first official world tour. The tour started on August 24, 2007, at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico and was expected to end on December 8, 2007, in Cali's Estadio Pascual Guerrero. However, due to the success of his soundtrack Talento de Barrio, more dates were added and the tour extended to 2008.

It contains 14 tracks of Dembow and Latin Trap and incorporates elements of dancehall, reggae, and hip-hop. It also includes remixes of the hits "Suave" and "Lo que yo diga". It features guest appearances from Cardi B, Anuel AA, Bryant Myers, Jon Z, Miky Woodz, Noriel, Plan B, Miky Woodz, Farruko, La Kikada, Mozart La Para & El Shick. The album was supported by the release of nine singles: "Mi Mami", "Pa Jamaica", "Con Silenciador", "Suave" (remix), "Sientate en ese deo", "Lo que yo diga" (remix), "Puñala de Carne" and "Uzi".

The Barrio Fino World Tour was a concert tour by reggaeton singer Daddy Yankee to promote his third studio album, Barrio Fino (2004). This was his first large tour and his first arena tour in the United States becoming the first reggaeton act to do so. The tour visited Latin America and United States and consisted of three legs. In December 2005, Yankee released Barrio Fino en Directo with featured videos and songs recorded live on this tour. It began on July 15, 2021 in Raleigh and concluded on December 18 of that year in Miami, with several shows throughout United States, Mexico, Spain, Puerto Rico, and Dominican Republic. Puerto Rican singer Eix served as a supporting act on the tour. The tour was met with highly positive reviews from critics, who complimented Alejandro's dance moves and choreography. His four sold-out shows at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan had grossed over $3,086,525 from an audience of 51,692.
