Lady Lash, born Crystal Mastrosavas, is an Australian hip-hop and jazz artist of indigenous Kokatha and Greek descent. She grew up in Ceduna, South Australia and now resides in Melbourne, Victoria. [1] Her work typically combines poetry, observation, and a spiritual element. Some of her songs reflect themes of inter-generational trauma such the Stolen Generations and living with racism. [2]
As a teenager, she performed as a backing singer for the indigenous rock band Coloured Stone, fronted by Bunna Lawrie. She toured with the band and appeared on the album Rhythm of Nature. The first album she bought was 2pac's All Eyes on Me . [2]
Crystal reverted to the name Lady Lash in 2015, releasing the album Milky Way produced by her husband working under the name Skitzo Productions. The release led to her nomination for "Best Indigenous Act" at the Music Victoria Awards in 2016. Her next release was a trip hop EP entitled Cats Eyes Sirens Mouth. Her next release, Therapy Tapes came in 2017. [1]
She performed at the Sydney Opera House as a cast member in Deborah Cheetham's indigenous opera, Pecan Summer . [3]

Lash were an all-female alternative/punk rock band from Perth, Western Australia. The members Belinda-Lee Reid, Jaclyn Pearson (drums), Jessicca Bennett and Micaela Slayford who all met at the Catholic Santa Maria College. The group released one studio album, The Beautiful and the Damned in 2002.
Ciara Princess Wilson is an American singer, songwriter, dancer and actress. She was discovered by record producer Jazze Pha in the early 2000s, and rose to prominence with her debut studio album, Goodies (2004). Its namesake lead single peaked atop the Billboard Hot 100, while the follow-ups, "1, 2 Step" and "Oh", both peaked at number two on the chart. Emma Donovan is an Aboriginal Australian singer and songwriter. She is a member of the renowned musical Donovan family. She started her singing career at age seven with her uncle's band, the Donovans. She performs with the Black Arm Band and released a solo EP, Ngaaraanga, in 2009.

Moana Maree Maniapoto is a New Zealand singer, songwriter and documentary maker. Widely considered one of New Zealand's most successful indigenous acts, her music is described as a fusion of traditional Māori haka, chants and taonga pūoro, with contemporary soul, reggae and classical styles. Moana was briefly married to New Zealand politician and radio personality Willie Jackson, during which time she was known as Moana Maniapoto-Jackson; they divorced in 2001. In 2016, Moana was inducted into the New Zealand Music Hall of Fame.

Adam Briggs, who performs as Briggs and self-describes as Senator Briggs, is an Aboriginal Australian rapper, record label owner, comedy writer, actor, and author. Briggs became well known as a "solo rapper", signing with Golden Era Records in 2009, before co-founding the hip hop duo A.B. Original in 2016.

Sampa Tembo, known professionally as Sampa the Great, is a Zambian singer, rapper and songwriter. Between 2014 and 2020, she was based in Australia. Her debut solo album, The Return, peaked at No. 12 on the ARIA Albums Chart. At the ARIA Music Awards of 2019 she won Best Hip Hop Release for her second single, "Final Form". In the following year she won the same category for The Return, as well as Best Female Artist and Best Independent Release. In March 2020 Sampa became the first artist to win the Australian Music Prize twice: for Birds and the Bee9 and The Return. The artist was based back in Zambia from late 2020, where she issued her second studio album, As Above, So Below.
Jimblah is an indigenous Australian hip hop artist from the Larrakia nation who lives in South Australia and tours nationally. He has released two solo albums and an album with his duo Homeward Bound. He is signed to the Elefant Traks label and has collaborated with many Australian artists including Coda Conduct, Horrorshow, The Tongue and Urthboy. Jimblah is also an advocate for indigenous music and indigenous rights.
