Laguna de Tacarigua is a town in the state of Miranda, adjacent to the Laguna de Tacarigua National Park in Venezuela.

Laguna de Bay, also known as Laguna Lake, is the largest lake in the Philippines. It is located southeast of Metro Manila, between the provinces of Laguna to the south and Rizal to the north. A freshwater lake, it has a surface area of 911–949 km², with an average depth of about 2.8 meters and an elevation of about one meter above sea level. The lake is shaped like a crow's foot, with two peninsulas jutting out from the northern shore and filling the large volcanic Laguna Caldera. In the middle of the lake is the large island of Talim.

Mariscal Sucre Airport is an airport in the Aragua state of Venezuela, serving the city of Maracay. The airport is on the northeastern shore of Lake Valencia also named Los Tacariguas Lake. The airport is named in honor of Antonio José de Sucre, a leader of the Venezuelan War of Independence and the second president of Bolivia. Deffenbaugh and LeRoy T. Carlson Professor in Comparative Literature and the Marion Butler McClean Professor in the History of Ideas at Wellesley. His particular expertise is Caribbean literature and Caribbean intellectual history, and he teaches courses on the African-American literary tradition, African literature, black women writers, and Caribbean literature.

The Laguna de Tacarigua National Park, also known as Tacarigua Lagoon National Park, is a protected area with the status of a national park located east of Miranda State, in the South American country of Venezuela. It comprises a permanent coastal lagoon of 7800 ha and 1.2 m of average depth, separated from the sea by a restinga or coastal barrier of 28.8 km long and 300–1000 m wide that was formed by the action of the sea current which runs along the coast in an East-West direction.

The XXII 2018 Pan Am Badminton Championships is a continental championships tournament of badminton in Pan America. This tournament were held as two events in different countries. From 15 to 18 February, the team event was held in Tacarigua, Trinidad and Tobago. From 26 to 29 April, the individual event will be held in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
