Laila Davidsen (born 28 January 1974) is a Norwegian politician for the Progress and Conservative parties.

She served as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway from Finnmark during the terms 20092013 and 20132017. In December 2016 she moved up to full representative, covering for Frank Bakke-Jensen who was named to Solberg's Cabinet. She is a member of the Standing Committee on Business and Industry. [1]

Locally she elected to the municipal council of Alta Municipality in 2007. In 2010 she changed party from Progress to Conservative. From 2011 to 2015 she served as the mayor of Alta Municipality, and also a member of Finnmark county council. [2]

Frank Bakke-Jensen is a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party. He served as minister of defence from 2017 to 2021, and minister of European affairs from 2016 to 2017. He was mayor of Båtsfjord Municipality from 2007 until his election to the Storting from Finnmark in 2009. Bakke-Jensen formerly worked as a ship's electrician between Hammerfest and Tromsø, and has also worked as a teacher and self-employed pilot at Båtsfjord Airport. He has also performed military service in the UN Lebanon conflict.

The 2005 Sámi parliamentary election was held in Norway on 12 September 2005. Voters elected 43 members for the Sámi Parliament of Norway.

Hospital to Alta was a Norwegian political party which was active for the 2013 parliamentary election. The party's sole issue was the desire to relocate Hammerfest Hospital, the sole hospital in western Finnmark, from the town of Hammerfest to the nearby town of Alta. The party was based on a Facebook group which gradually developed into a party list for the election. Former Conservative Party local politician Raymond Londal was the top candidate, along with nine other people. The party ran exclusively in the constituency of Finnmark. The party received 467 votes, of which 370 were cast in Alta, or 1.2 percent in Finnmark and 3.9 percent in Alta, failing to claim a seat in Parliament. The party was abolished after the election.
