Lake Nshenyi is a Ugandan crater lake in Western Uganda, Rubirizi district. The lake's elevation above sea level is 1006 metres. [1] The lake is a habitat to Flamingos that migrated from Lake Nakuru in Kenya. [2] [3] [4]

Mount Muhabura, also known as Mount Muhavura, is an inactive volcano in the Virunga Mountains on the Rwanda-Uganda border. At 4,127 metres (13,540 ft), Muhabura is the third highest of the eight major mountains of the mountain range, which is part of the Albertine Rift, the western branch of the East African Rift. Its summit contains a small crater lake. The limited evidence for this volcano suggests that it last erupted some time in the Holocene, but the exact date is not known. The Smithsonian Institution states that a small parasitic crater near Muhabura had been active recently. Muhabura is partly in the Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda and partly in the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Uganda.
Halemaʻumaʻu is a pit crater within the much larger Kīlauea Caldera at the summit of Kīlauea volcano on island of Hawaiʻi. The roughly circular crater was 770 meters (2,530 ft) x 900 m (2,950 ft) before collapses that roughly doubled the size of the crater after May 3, 2018. Following the collapses of 2018, the bottom of Halemaʻumaʻu was roughly 600 m (2,000 ft) below the caldera floor. Halemaʻumaʻu is home to Pele, goddess of fire and volcanoes, according to the traditions of Hawaiian religion. Halemaʻumaʻu means "house of the ʻāmaʻu fern".

Lake Bujuku is a crater lake in the Rwenzori Mountains, Kasese district, western Uganda. Its a tourist destination. The hiking trail to Lake Bujuku takes at least 3 days. The lake is 1.37 kilometres (0.85 mi) long and is situated at 3,963 metres (13,002 ft) above sea level, at the head of Bujuku valley.
