Lake Villa Community Consolidated School District 41 is a school district based in Lake Villa, Lake County, Illinois. District 41 governs four schools in total: three elementary schools (B. J. Hooper Elementary School, Olive C. Martin Elementary School, and William L. Thompson Elementary School) and one middle school (Peter J. Palombi Middle School). Lake Villa is a village in Lake County, Illinois United States. Per the 2020 census, the population was 8,741. Lake Villa lies within Lake Villa Township and about 50 miles north of Chicago and is part of the United States Census Bureau's Chicago combined statistical area (CSA).

Steger School District 194 is a school district based in the village of Steger, Illinois, a Chicago suburb located in the extreme southern reaches of Cook County, and the northern portion of Will County. The district is composed of one middle school and three elementary schools; all schools are located in Steger with the exception of one. Mundelein Elementary School District 75 is an elementary school district based entirely in the western Lake County village of Mundelein, Illinois. The district is composed of three schools: an early learning center, an intermediate grade school, and a middle school. All schools are located in the village of Mundelein. Students in the district attend Washington Elementary School, which serves kindergarteners, first graders, and second graders under Principal Stephanie Drake. Students then proceed to Mechanics Grove Elementary School, which serves grades three through five and is led by Principal Tanya Fergus. Mechanics Grove then feeds into Carl Sandburg Middle School, which serves grades six through eight under Principal Mark Pilut.
