Hailed as one of the greatest comedians of all-time in Malayalam cinema, he is also known for his highly nuanced character roles. He is the son of acclaimed dramaturge and writer, the late Jagathy N. K. Achary.

Innocent Vareed Thekkethala, better known mononymously as Innocent, is an Indian film actor and politician. He currently serves as the Member of Parliament in Lok Sabha representing Chalakudy constituency. He predominantly works in Malayalam cinema in addition to Bollywood, English, Tamil, and Kannada films, mostly in comedic roles. He has acted in more than 750 films and has won several awards, including three Kerala State Film Awards.

Vinaya Prasad born as Vinaya Bhat is a popular film and television actress in South India who has primarily featured in Kannada and Malayalam films, TV series besides acting in a few Tamil and Telugu language films. She has won the State Best Actress Award for her performances in Aathanka (1993) and Bannada Hejje (2001). The senior actress in her career has shared screen space with Chiranjeevi, Vishnuvardhan, Rajinikanth, Mohanlal, Ambareesh, Venkatesh, Ananth Nag, Akkineni Nagarjuna, V. Ravichandran, Shivrajkumar, Mahesh Babu, Mukesh and others.

Shanthi Krishna is an Indian dancer and film actress known for her leading roles in Malayalam cinema along with a few Tamil films. She was a popular lead actress of the 1980s and 1990s. She won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress for her performance as Sharadammini in Chakoram (1994) and she won critical accloades & awards for her performance in Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela in her re-entry to Malayalam films including Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress – Malayalam.

Gireesh Puthenchery was a noted Malayalam lyricist and screenwriter. He also served as a governing council member of the Indian Performance Rights Society (IPRS). He won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Lyrics seven times. He died on 10 February 2010 in Kozhikode.
