Lanao Chung Hua School is the first and only existing Chinese school in Iligan City, Philippines. [1] It was founded on November 12, 1938.

It was upgraded to university status and renamed as "Chung Hua University" in 1997. Chung Tai Shan is a Taiwan-based international Chan Buddhist monastic order founded by the Ven. Wei Chueh in 1987. The monastery headquarters, Chung Tai Chan Monastery, completed in September 2001, is located in Puli, Nantou County, in central Taiwan.
