Lance Travis (born June 21, 1969) is an American former pair skater. With partner Stephanie Stiegler, he was the U.S. junior champion in 1993 [1] and the bronze medalist at the United States Figure Skating Championships in 1995. [2] [3] He later teamed with Sara Ward and finished fifth at nationals in 1996.

Val Joe "Rudy" Galindo is an American former competitive figure skater who competed in both single skating and pair skating. As a single skater, he is the 1996 U.S. national champion, 1987 World Junior Champion, and 1996 World Bronze medalist. As a pairs skater, he competed with Kristi Yamaguchi and was the 1988 World Junior Champion and the 1989 and 1990 U.S. National Champion. He is the first openly gay skating champion in the United States, though US, World and Olympic champion Brian Boitano came out long after his career was over.
Sabena Flight 548 was a scheduled international passenger flight from Idlewild Airport in New York City to Brussels Airport in Belgium. On 15 February 1961, the Boeing 707-329 operating the flight crashed on approach to Brussels Airport, killing all 72 people on board and one person on the ground. The fatalities included the entire United States figure skating team, which was traveling to the World Figure Skating Championships in Prague, Czechoslovakia. The precise cause of the crash remains unknown; the most likely explanation was thought to be a failure of the mechanism that adjusts the tail stabilizer.

John Luther Zimmerman IV is an American professional pair skater and coach. With skating partner Kyoko Ina, he is the 2002 World bronze medalist and a three-time U.S. national champion. They also competed at the 2002 Olympics. Zimmerman was suspended by the United States Center for SafeSport in March 2021 for a two-year period.
Todd Sand is an American pair skater. With his wife Jenni Meno, he is the 1998 World silver medalist, a two-time World bronze medalist, and a three-time U.S. national champion (1994–96). With his previous partner Natasha Kuchiki, he is the 1991 World bronze medalist.

John "Johnnie" Stiegler is an American former pair skater. With his sister Tiffany, he won the bronze medal at the 1998 Sparkassen Cup on Ice.
Amanda Evora is an American former competitive pair skater. She competed with Mark Ladwig. They are two-time U.S. silver medalists, 2012 U.S. bronze medalists and two-time U.S. pewter medalists.
Simon Shnapir is an American former competitive pair skater. With Marissa Castelli, he is the 2013 Four Continents bronze medalist, the 2009 World Junior bronze medalist, and a two-time U.S. national champion. The pair won a bronze medal in the team event at the 2014 Winter Olympics. After their split in May 2014, Shnapir teamed up with DeeDee Leng and competed in the 2014–15 season.

With his wife, Alexa Scimeca Knierim, he is a 2018 Olympic bronze medalist in the figure skating team event, a two-time Four Continents medalist, a three-time Grand Prix medalist, and a three-time U.S. National Champion. Stephanie Stiegler is an American former pair skater. With partner John Zimmerman, she is the 1997 U.S. bronze medalist. With partner Lance Travis, she is the 1995 U.S. bronze medalist. She is the older sister of Tiffany Stiegler and Johnnie Stiegler.
Mary Beth Marley is an American pair skater. With former partner Rockne Brubaker, she is the 2012 Four Continents bronze medalist and 2012 U.S. silver medalist. Previously, Marley competed in single skating and became the 2009 U.S. novice silver medalist.
